Description
本発明は、押出による積層製造システムを用いた、3次元(3D)オブジェクトの製造に関する。具体的には、本発明は、単一の駆動モータを用いて、3Dオブジェクトを構築するための複数の材料を押し出す、押出ヘッドに関する。
[概要]
本発明は、少なくとも1つの駆動輪と、少なくとも第1の状態及び第2の状態のいずれかに位置可能なアセンブリとを有する、押出ヘッドに関する。アセンブリは、該アセンブリが第1の状態に位置している間に、少なくとも1つの駆動輪と係合するよう構成された、第1の押出ラインと、該アセンブリが第2の状態に位置している間に、少なくとも1つの駆動輪と係合するよう構成された、第2の押出ラインとを備える。
[詳細な説明]
図1は、システム10の側面図であり、システム10は、溶融堆積モデリングシステムなどのような、3Dオブジェクトを製造するための押出による積層製造システムである。システム10は、構築室12と、コントローラ14と、冷却ライン16と、材料供給部18とを備え、構築室12は、本発明の押出ヘッド20を収容している。押出ヘッド20を組み込み得る好適なシステムは、ミネソタ州 エデン プレーリーにあるストラタシス,インコーポレイテッドから“FDM”という商品名で市販されている溶融堆積モデリングシステムを含んでいる。
Claims (14)
- 押出ヘッドであって、
前記押出ヘッドから第1の材料及び第2の材料を押し出すように駆動される少なくとも1つの駆動輪と、
少なくとも第1の状態及び第2の状態のいずれかとなるように位置可能なアセンブリと
を備え、
前記アセンブリは、
前記アセンブリが前記第1の状態に位置されている間、前記第1の材料が前記少なくとも1つの駆動輪と係合するように構成された第1の押出ラインと、
前記アセンブリが前記第2の状態に位置されている間、前記第2の材料が前記少なくとも1つの駆動輪と係合するように構成された第2の押出ラインと
を備え、
前記少なくとも1つの駆動輪は、前記第1の材料と係合されているときに、第1の回転方向に回転し、前記第2の材料と係合されているときに、第2の回転方向に回転し、
該第2の回転方向は、前記第1の回転方向の反対である
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項1に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
前記第1の押出ラインは、
前記アセンブリが前記第1の状態に位置されている間、前記少なくとも1つの駆動輪に隣接して配置される遊動輪と、
入口通路及び出口通路を有する液化ブロックであって、前記入口通路が前記遊動輪に隣接された液化ブロックと、
前記液化ブロックの前記出口通路に隣接して配置された押出端部と
を備えている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項1に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
前記アセンブリを少なくとも前記第1の状態及び前記第2の状態のいずれかとなるように移動させるように構成されたトグルスイッチをさらに備えている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項3に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
前記トグルスイッチは、
少なくとも前記第1の状態及び前記第2の状態のいずれかに前記アセンブリを位置させるために、第1の位置と第2の位置との間で摺動可能なトグルバーを備えている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項4に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
前記トグルバーは、
前記アセンブリと係合するように構成されたトラックを備えている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項1に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
前記アセンブリが位置されている状態を認識するためのセンサをさらに備えている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項1に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
前記少なくとも1つの駆動輪は、単一の駆動輪である
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項1に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
複数の出口オリフィスを有する気流マニホールドをさらに備えている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 押出ヘッドであって、
該押出ヘッドを1つの軸に沿って移動させるための案内レールに固定された、該押出ヘッドのフレームである変換装置と、
該変換装置に回転可能に接続され、前記押出ヘッドから第1の材料及び第2の材料を押し出すように駆動される駆動輪と、
前記変換装置に枢動可能に接続されたアセンブリであって、第1の押出ラインと第2の押出ラインとを有するアセンブリと、
前記変換装置に接続され、少なくとも第1の状態及び第2の状態に前記アセンブリを位置させるために該アセンブリに係合されたトグルスイッチと
を備え、
前記第1の押出ラインは、前記アセンブリが前記第1の状態に位置されている間、前記第1の材料が前記駆動輪と係合するように構成され、
前記第2の押出ラインは、前記アセンブリが前記第2の状態に位置されている間、前記第2の材料が前記駆動輪と係合するように構成されている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項9に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
前記第1の押出ラインは、
前記アセンブリが前記第1の状態に位置されている間、前記駆動輪に隣接して配置される遊動輪と、
入口通路及び出口通路を有する液化ブロックであって、前記入口通路が前記遊動輪に隣接されている液化ブロックと、
該液化ブロックの前記出口通路に隣接配置された押出端部と
を備えている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項9に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
前記トグルスイッチは、前記変換装置に対して摺動可能なトグルバーを備えている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項11に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
前記トグルバーは、
前記変換装置に対して前記アセンブリを枢動するために、前記アセンブリと係合するように構成されたトラックを備えている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項9に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
前記トグルスイッチは、
前記アセンブリが位置されている状態を認識するように構成されたセンサを備えている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。 - 請求項13に記載の押出ヘッドであって、
前記トグルスイッチは、前記変換装置に対して摺動可能なトグルバーをさらに備え、
前記センサは、前記トグルバーの摺動を検出するように構成されている
ことを特徴とする押出ヘッド。
