Description
本発明は、このような課題に着目したものであり、移動端末機において、シンプルなデザインとしつつ、便利なユーザインタフェース環境を提供することを目的とする。
本実施形態による移動端末機は、第1本体110と、該第1本体110に対して少なくとも一方向に摺動(スライド移動)可能に連結された第2本体120と、を含む。
フロントケース111の前面には、第1領域113aと、第2領域114aと、が形成されており、第1領域113aにはタッチスクリーン部113が配置され、第2領域114aにはタッチパッド部114が配置されている。第1領域113aと第2領域114aとは互いに隣接して形成されることが好ましいことはもちろんである。
また、インタフェース126は、SIM(subscriber identification module)、UIM(user identity module)、又は、情報保存のためのメモリカードなどの外部カードを収容するカードソケットであってもよい。
図2を参照すると、第2本体120のリアケース122の背面には、第2映像入力部128が装着されている。この第2映像入力部128は、撮影方向が第1映像入力部116(図1を参照)の撮影方向と実質的に反対となっており、第1映像入力部116とは画素数の異なるカメラとしてもよい。
なお、このウィンドウ136は、タッチスクリーン部113(第1領域113a)、タッチパッド部114(第2領域114a)、音響出力部115及び第1映像入力部116を覆うように設けられており(図1を参照)、該ウィンドウ136の第2領域114aに対応する領域内には貫通孔136aが形成され、音響出力部115に対応する部分には音響出力部115から音響を出力するための音響出力孔115aが形成されている。
また、タッチシート150の、第1操作部117に対応する領域には、該第1操作部117のための貫通孔150bが形成される。
また、タッチシート150の第1領域113aに対応する領域の縁部には、シールドパターン155が形成される。
発光シート160は、ELシート(Electro Luminescence Sheet)を含むことができ、この発光シート160には、ウィンドウ136に形成された貫通孔136a及びタッチシート150に形成された貫通孔150aに対応する貫通孔160aが形成される。
ここで、各折曲点(例えば、折曲点157b)に接続する2つのライン(導電パターン)は、当該折曲点(折曲点157b)を通過する水平線(すなわち、折曲点を通過して前記短手方向に延びる直線(仮想線))157cに対称となるように形成されている。
図3及び図6を参照すると、タッチシート150の第2領域152の内側(背面側)には発光シート160が配置されており、この発光シート160は、タッチパッド部114を内側から照明し、所定の発光パターンを提供(表示)するように構成される。
すなわち、タッチシート150のタッチキー部154(図4を参照)にタッチ入力されると、図7Aに示すように、制御部によって、まず最も径の小さい(最も内側の)第1発光パターン162aが最も明るくなるように制御される。その後、所定時間が経過すると、図7Bに示すように、第1発光パターン162aの明るさが暗くなり、代わりに、第2発光パターン162bの明るさが最も明るくなるように制御される。
ここでは、タッチパッド部114が、カーソル又はポインタ113eを移動させる方向キーとしての機能を有しているものとする。
タッチパッド部114がタッチされると、発光シート160の発光パターン162がタッチパッド部114に表示され、該当領域がタッチされたことを使用者に認知させる。
また、使用者がタッチキー部154(図4を参照)をタッチすることにより、同心円状形状の発光パターン162a〜162dが時間経過に応じて順に最も発光する。
なお、図9及び図10においては、上記第1実施形態の構成に対応する構成要素に対しては、例えば、データライン253(第1実施形態では153)、タッチキー部254(同じく154)、フロントケース211(同じく111)、リアケース212(同じく112)、ディスプレイモジュール235(同じく135)、プリント基板234a(134a)、ウィンドウ236(136)のように、上記第1実施形態の構成要素の番号(100番台)に100を加算した200番台の番号としている。
また、映像入力部116、128で処理された画像フレームは、制御部170の制御によりメモリ174に保存されるか、無線送受信部171を介して外部に伝送される。
Claims (5)
- 端末機本体の前面の第1領域に配置され、視覚情報を表示すると共にタッチ操作により情報を入力できるタッチスクリーン部と、
前記端末機本体の前面の第2領域に配置され、該第2領域上の所定位置へのタッチ操作により情報を入力するタッチパッド部と、
前記第1領域及び前記第2領域の前面に装着される透光性材質からなるウィンドウと、
前記ウィンドウの前記第2領域に対応する領域内に形成された貫通孔に配置されたセンターキーと、
前記端末機本体の内部に配置され、前記センターキーの押圧操作によって情報を入力するスイッチと、
を含み、
前記タッチパッド部は、前記センターキーの上側、下側、左側及び右側の四つの位置へのタッチ操作により情報を入力するものであり、
前記第2領域上の前記四つの位置を内側から個別に照明する発光パターンを備えると共に前記四つの位置のいずれかがタッチされたときに対応する発光パターンが発光する発光シートを更に含み、
前記発光パターンは、複数の異なる径のリング状の発光パターンが同心円状に配置された構成を有することを特徴とする移動端末機。 - 前記同心円状に配置された各リング状の発光パターンのうち最も明るくなる発光パターンが内側から外側に向かって又は外側から内側に向かって順に変化するように制御する制御部を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の移動端末機。
- 前記端末機本体は、
前記第1領域及び前記第2領域の周囲を囲む支持フレームと、
前記支持フレームの内側に装着され、前記支持フレームに配置された操作部の押圧操作によって情報を入力するように構成されるスイッチと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の移動端末機。 - 前記タッチパッド部は、前記タッチスクリーン部に選択可能なリストが表示されているときに、前記リストから項目を選択するためのカーソル又はポインタを移動させる方向キーとしての機能を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の移動端末機。
- 前記端末機本体は、第1本体と該第1本体に対してスライド可能に連結された第2本体とを含み、
前記第1本体の前面に前記タッチスクリーン部及び前記タッチパッド部が配置され、
前記第2本体の前面に数字又は文字を入力するためのキーパッドが配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の移動端末機。
