Description
(A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂
本発明に用いる(A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(以下「PBT」と略記することがある。)とは、テレフタル酸単位および1,4−ブタンジオール単位がエステル結合した構造を有し、ジカルボン酸単位の50モル%以上がテレフタル酸単位から成り、ジオール成分の50モル%以上が1,4−ブタンジオール単位から成る高分子化合物を示す。
(1)エステル化(又はエステル交換)反応に(a)、(b)両方を用い、次に重縮合反応する方法。
(2)エステル化(又はエステル交換)反応に(a)、(b)各々についてその一部使用し、重縮合反応開始時又は反応中に、(a)、(b)の残余を追加する方法。
(3)エステル化(又はエステル交換)反応では(a)、(b)のうち一方を用い、他方を重縮合反応開始時又は反応中に追加する方法。
(4)エステル化(又はエステル交換)反応では(a)、(b)を用いず、重縮合反応開始時に両方を追加する方法。
(A−1):PBT (Ti含有量:30ppm、 Mg含有量:15ppm)
(A−2):PBT (Ti含有量:45ppm、 Mg含有量:45ppm)
(A−3):PBT (Ti含有量:45ppm、 Mg含有量:0ppm)
(A−4):PBT (Ti含有量:90ppm、 Mg含有量:45ppm)
(A−5):PBT (Ti含有量:45ppm、 Mg含有量:60ppm)
(A−6):PBT (Ti含有量:45ppm、 Li含有量:25ppm)
(A−1):図1に示すエステル化工程と、図2に示す重縮合工程を用い、以下の方法によりPBTを製造した。先ずテレフタル酸1.00モルに対して、1,4−ブタンジオール1.80モルの割合で混合した60℃のスラリーを、スラリー調製槽から原料供給ライン1を通じ、予め、エステル化率99%のPBTオリゴマーを充填したスクリュー型攪拌機を有するエステル化のための反応槽Aに、41kg/hとなる様に連続的に供給した。
(B−1):ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(3−ドデシルチオプロピオネート)(シプロ化成社製 SEENOX412S)
(B−3):ビス(2,6−ジ−t−ブチル−4−メチルフェニル)ペンタエリスリトールジホスファイト(旭電化工業社製 アデカスタブPEP36)
(B−4):ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス[3−(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート](チバ・スペシャルティ・ケミカルズ社製 Irganox1010)
(1)エステル化率:
下記の計算式によって酸価およびケン化価から算出した。酸価は、ジメチルホルムアミドにオリゴマーを溶解させ、0.1NのKOH/メタノール溶液を使用して滴定により求めた。ケン化価は0.5NのKOH/エタノール溶液でオリゴマーを加水分解し、0.5Nの塩酸で滴定し求めた。
エステル化率=(ケン化価−酸価)/ケン化価)×100
電子工業用高純度硫酸及び硝酸でPBTを湿式分解し、高分解能ICP−MS(Inductively Coupled Plasma−Mass Spectrometer)(サーモクエスト社製)を使用して測定した。
ウベローデ型粘度計を使用し次の要領で求めた。すなわち、フェノール/テトラクロロエタン(重量比1/1)の混合溶媒を使用し、30℃において、濃度1.0g/dlのポリマー溶液および溶媒のみの落下秒数を測定し、下記の式より求めた。

(但しηsp=η/η0−1であり、ηはポリマー溶液落下秒数、η0は溶媒の落下秒数、Cはポリマー溶液濃度(g/dL)、KHはハギンズの定数で、0.33とした。)
ベンジルアルコール25mlにPBT又はオリゴマー0.5gを溶解し、水酸化ナトリウムの0.01モル/Lベンジルアルコール溶液を使用して滴定した。
日本電色社製色差計(Z−300A型)を使用し、L、a、b表色系におけるb値で評価した。値が低いほど黄ばみが少なく色調が良好であることを示す。
各成分を表−2に示す割合で秤量し、2軸押出機((株)日本製鋼所製、型式TEX30C、スクリュー径30mm)を用いてシリンダ設定温度255℃、スクリュー回転数200rpmで、通常通りコンパウンドを実施し、ペレットを得た。得られたペレットを120℃5時間熱風乾燥し住友重機械(株)製射出成型機(型式SG−75SYCAP−MIII)を使用して、シリンダ温度250℃、金型温度80℃の条件で、下記の機械的物性測定用ISO試験片を成形した。この試験片に対しISO527に準拠し引張試験を実施し、また上述の方法により成形体の色調b値の測定を実施した。これらの結果をバージン材特性として表2に記載した。

Claims (3)
- (A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂100重量部に対して(B)イオウ原子含有化合物を0.01〜1重量部含有するポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物であって、(A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂がホモポリマーであり、該(A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂が、(A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂を製造するための重縮合触媒である(a)チタン化合物と、(b)1族金属化合物及び/または2族金属化合物とを含有し、(a)チタン化合物の含有量が、チタン原子換算で10ppm以上80ppm以下であり、(b)1族金属化合物及び/または2族金属化合物の含有量が、その金属原子換算で1ppm以上50ppm以下であり、(b)1族金属化合物及び/または2族金属化合物が、マグネシウム化合物であり、且つ固有粘度が1より大きく3以下であることを特徴とする、ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。
- (B)イオウ原子含有化合物が、チオエーテル類化合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物を成形してなる樹脂成形体。
