Description
[実施例1〜12及び比較例1〜8]
クロム系骨材粒子としては、粒子径が1mmを超えて10mm以下の範囲にあるAl2O3、Cr2O3、ZrO2及びSiO2からなる粒子を用いた。具体的には、約45質量%のCr2O3、約20質量%のAl2O3、約20質量%のZrO2、及び約15質量%のSiO2とを含み、これら成分の合計含有量が約100質量%であるものを用いた。粒子群としては、粒子径が1mm以下の純度99%のCr2O3(日本電工(株)製)と、ZrO2・SiO2[ジルコンフラワー、美濃顔料化学(株)製]とを用いた。そして、これらの材料に鉱化剤を加えて表1−1及び表1−2に示した粒配で、合計が20kgとなるように配合してよく混合し、実施例及び比較例の各原料組成物を得た。
上記の材料に、水1.5kgと、減水剤として非イオン系界面活性剤0.02kgを同時に添加して混合した。そして、上記の混合材料からなる混練物を並型の型枠(65×114×230mm)に流し込み、1昼夜養生した後、脱枠し、110℃で乾燥した。乾燥後、ガス炉にて1,500℃程度で焼成して焼結体を得た。
上記で得た各焼結体を用いて、下記の方法で浸食試験を行い、耐食性の評価を行った。各焼結体で形成したテストプラント規模の産業廃棄物焼却炉をそれぞれ用いて、下水汚泥を1,500℃で500時間の溶融処理を行って、実施例及び比較例の焼結体を評価した。試験に用いた下水汚泥の灰分の組成を表2に示した。
Claims (3)
- 少なくとも、30〜80質量%の骨材粒子と、合量が18〜68質量%の中間粒子及び微粒子からなる粒子群と、2〜5質量%の鉱化剤とを混合してなるCr2O3を主成分とするクロム系不定形耐火材の原料組成物であって、
上記骨材粒子は、その粒子径が1mmを超えて10mm以下の範囲内にあって、その化学組成が実質的にAl2O3、Cr2O3、ZrO2及びSiO2からなり、
上記粒子群は、いずれも粒子径が1mm以下の範囲内にあって、その化学組成がCr2O3である粒子と、その化学組成が実質的にZrO2・SiO2である粒子とが少なくとも混合され、
更に、原料組成物全体において、化学組成がZrO2・SiO2である粒子を10質量%以上の割合で含み、且つ、該化学組成において、SiO 2 を12〜19質量%の範囲で含み、Cr2O3の総量とZrO2・SiO2の質量比ZrO2・SiO2/Cr2O3が、0.17〜0.91であることを特徴とするクロム系不定形耐火材用原料組成物。 - 請求項1に記載のクロム系不定形耐火材用原料組成物を、成形し、乾燥してなることを特徴とする耐火材。
- 請求項1に記載のクロム系不定形耐火材用原料組成物を、成形し、乾燥し、その後、焼成してなることを特徴とする耐火材。
