Claims (6)
- 角度目盛が付された目盛盤と、前記角度目盛を通過した光の角度目盛像位置を読み取る検出器と、前記角度目盛像位置から内挿計算して測角値を得る演算手段とを備えたロータリエンコーダの角度補正方法において、
前記角度目盛像位置について、モデルから算出される位置と実際に読み取った位置Pとの残差rを求めて記録するとともに、該残差rを角度目盛像番号xに関する予め設定した次数の多項式f(x)に当て嵌めて、残差曲線r=f(x)を求める残差曲線算出工程と、
i番目の角度目盛像番号をxiとして、x=xiの点における前記残差曲線の接線の傾きf’(xi)を算出する傾き算出工程と、
i番目の残差ri及び前記傾きf’(xi)を記録する角度補正データ記録工程とを有することを特徴とするロータリエンコーダの角度補正方法。 - 角度目盛が付された目盛盤と、前記角度目盛を通過した光の角度目盛像位置を読み取る検出器と、前記角度目盛像位置から内挿計算して測角値を得る演算手段とを備えたロータリエンコーダの角度補正方法において、
前記角度目盛像位置について、モデルから算出される位置と実際に読み取った位置Pとの残差rを求めて記録するとともに、該残差rを角度目盛像番号xに関する0次以上の各次数の多項式f(x)に当て嵌めて、残差曲線r=f(x)を求める残差曲線算出工程と、
各次数の多項式毎に、連続する複数個の角度目盛像のi番目の角度目盛像番号をxiとして、x=xiの点における前記残差曲線の接線の傾きf’(xi)を算出する傾き算出工程と、
各次数の多項式毎に、前記i番目の角度目盛像番号の残差ri及び前記傾きf’(xi)から角度目盛像位置の補正量Ciを算出するとともに、該補正量Ciを使用して測角値θ0を求め、内挿計算に用いる連続する角度目盛像の組合せを角度目盛が小さくなる方向と角度目盛が大きくなる方向にそれぞれ切換えて、前記補正量Ciを使用して測角値θ−1及びθ+1を求めて、前記測角値θ0と前記測角値θ−1及びθ+1の差θ−1−θ0、θ+1−θ0から角度とび量を算出する角度とび量算出工程と、
各次数の多項式毎に算出した前記角度とび量を比較して、前記多項式f(x)の次数を決定する次数決定工程と、
前記残差ri及び決定された次数の多項式f(x)から得られた接線の傾きf’(xi)を記録する角度補正データ記録工程とを有することを特徴とするロータリエンコーダの角度補正方法。 - 前記多項式の次数は0〜7次の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のロータリエンコーダの角度補正方法。
- 赤池情報量基準(AIC)が最小となるように前記多項式の次数を決定することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のロータリエンコーダの角度補正方法。
- 前記多項式が最小次数となるように前記多項式の次数を決定することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のロータリエンコーダの角度補正方法。
- 角度目盛が付された目盛盤と、前記角度目盛を通過した光の角度目盛像位置を読み取る検出器と、前記角度目盛像位置から内挿計算して測角値を得る演算手段とを備えたロータリエンコーダにおいて、
前記演算手段は、請求項1、2、3、4又は5に記載された角度補正方法によって作成して記録された前記残差ri及び前記接線の傾きf’(xi)を用いて測角値を補正することを特徴とするロータリエンコーダ。
