Description
変調信号18に応じて量子化レベル13のスケーリングが、図9に概略的に示されている。受信されるパルス10は、受信されるパルス10の列中ではもはや等間隔でない量子化レベル13によって標本化されるのが好ましい。それによりそれぞれの標本パルスの異なる形状が得られる(もはや別には図示せず)。−般的に、連続する受信パルス10の列内で最後に受信されるパルス10は、次第に粗く標本化されるということができる。標本パルスのそれぞれ異なる形状のため加算及び重畳変調により、再び多くの仮想量子化レベル17が得られる。

Claims (3)
- 間隔センサ(5)と物体(2)との間の間隔を、電磁波信号(6)を送信しかつ物体(2)により反射される信号(7)を受信することにより測定する方法であって、物体(2)により反射される信号(7)が連続するパルス(10)の列を含み、標本パルス(14)を得るため受信される信号(7)が量子化され、標本パルス(14)が加算されるものにおいて、受信される信号(7)が、量子化及び加算の前に、時間と共に連続的に上昇する変調信号(18)と重畳されることを特徴とする、間隔測定方法。
- 変調信号(18)がのこぎり波状信号即ち時間的にのこぎり波形の変化をする信号である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の方法を実施するための装置であって、送信機(3)及び受信機(4)を持つ間隔センサ(5)を備え、送信機(3)は電磁波信号を送信し、受信機(4)は物体(2)の所で反射される信号(7)を連続するパルス(10)の列の形で受信するようになっており、受信される信号(7)と時間と共に連続的に上昇する変調信号(18)とを重畳する変調手段を備え、標本パルス(14)を得るため受信される信号(7)を量子化する量子化手段を備え、標本パルス(14)を加算する処理手段を備えている装置。
