Description
Claims (26)
- 管腔内ステントであって、
金属補強部材と、
上記金属補強部材の少なくとも一部を覆う生分解性ポリマ材料とを備え、
ここで、上記金属補強部材と上記生分解性ポリマ材料との両方が、機械的および構造的な支持を上記ステントに提供するようにされており、
上記金属補強部材は、当該管腔内ステントを構造的に補強するが、上記生分解性ポリマ材料がなければ、ステントの管腔への移植によって管腔の開通性を維持するには不十分であり、
ここで、上記金属補強部材は、編成され、織成され、又は組まれた1以上の金属フィラメントを含む目の粗い網目構造、有機的に連結可能なセグメントを相互接続した網目構造、1以上の金属フィラメントを有するコイル状又は螺旋状構造、及びパターン化された管状の金属シートからなるグループから選択される
ことを特徴とする、管腔内ステント。 - 上記金属補強部材は、ステンレス鋼、チタン合金、タンタル合金、ニッケル合金、コバルト合金、及び貴金属からなるグループから選択される生体適合性を有する金属を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記生体適合性を有する金属は、形状記憶合金を含むことを特徴とする請求項2記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記形状記憶合金は、ニッケル−チタン合金を含むことを特徴とする請求項3記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記生分解性ポリマ材料は、ポリ乳酸、ポリグリコール酸、ポリカプロラクトン、ポリオルトエステル、トリメチレンカーボネートポリマ、並びにこれらのコポリマ及び混合物からなるグループから選択される生体適合性を有する生分解性ポリマを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の管腔内ステント。
- 当該管腔内ステントは、血管内ステント、胆管用ステント、気管用ステント、胃腸用ステント、尿道用ステント、尿管用ステント、及び食道用ステントからなるグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の管腔内ステント。
- 当該管腔内ステントは、バルーン拡張ステント又は自己拡張ステントであることを特徴とする請求項6記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記血管内ステントは、冠状動脈用ステントであることを特徴とする請求項6記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記金属補強部材は、複数の間隙を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記金属フィラメントは、2以上の異なる金属を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記パターン化された管状の金属シートは、金属シートをレーザカッティング又は化学エッチングすることによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記金属補強部材の少なくとも一部を覆う生分解性ポリマ材料は、生分解性ポリマ材料コーティング層を含むことを特徴とする請求項9記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記生分解性ポリマ材料コーティング層は、1以上の治療薬及び/又は診断用薬剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項12記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記金属補強部材の少なくとも一部を覆う生分解性ポリマ材料は、2以上の生分解性ポリマ材料コーティング層を含むことを特徴とする請求項9記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記生分解性ポリマ材料コーティング層の1以上は、1以上の治療薬及び/又は診断用薬物を含むことを特徴とする請求項14記載の管腔内ステント。
- 2以上の上記生分解性ポリマ材料コーティング層は、それぞれ異なる治療薬又は治療薬の組み合わせが付加されていることを特徴とする請求項15記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記生分解性ポリマ材料コーティング層の少なくとも2つは、それぞれ生分解速度が異なることを特徴とする請求項14記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記生分解性ポリマ材料コーティング層の少なくとも2つは、それぞれ治療薬放出速度が異なることを特徴とする請求項15記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記金属補強部材及び上記生分解性ポリマ材料は、積層構造内に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項9記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記金属補強部材は、生分解性ポリマ材料の2以上の層の間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項19記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記2以上の層は、それぞれ異なる生分解性ポリマ材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項20記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記2以上の層の少なくとも1つは、1以上の治療薬及び/又は診断用薬剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項20記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記2以上の層には、それぞれ異なる治療薬又は治療薬の組み合わせが付加されていることを特徴とする請求項22記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記層の少なくとも2つは、生分解速度が異なることを特徴とする請求項20記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記層の少なくとも2つは、それぞれ治療薬放出速度が異なることを特徴とする請求項22記載の管腔内ステント。
- 上記金属補強部材の表面は、該金属補強部材の生体適合性を高めるために不動態化されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の管腔内ステント。
