Claims (2)
- セパレーター・プレート及び電池の運転に必要な流体の供給、循環、並びに排出用のチャネル構造を有する燃料電池であって、前記チャネル構造が前記セパレーター・プレート上に製造される燃料電池において、
冷却流体の流れ(34)の独立した制御のために、流れ断面積を変化させる少なくとも1個の素子(29)が、チャネル構造の少なくとも1個のチャネル(26、27)に組み込まれるものであり、
前記少なくとも1個の素子(29)が、水分増加があるときに体積増加を起こすものであること、
前記少なくとも1個の素子(29)が、カソード流体チャネル(26)と冷却流体チャネル(27)の2つのチャネル(26、27)間のチャネル壁(28)に組み込まれること、および
前記チャネル壁(28)が、カソード流体チャネル(26)を冷却流体チャネル(27)から分離させ、前記少なくとも1個の素子(29)が、カソード流体チャネル(26)側では剛性水浸透性材料の壁(31)を有し、冷却流体チャネル(27)側では弾性水不浸透性材料の壁(30)を有すると共に、前記剛性水浸透性材料の壁と前記弾性水不浸透性材料の壁との間に膨潤体(29)を有することを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 前記弾性水不浸透性材料の壁(30)がゴムからなり、前記剛性水浸透性材料の壁(31)が金属網で作られることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
