Claims (9)
- 光コネクタアダプタの一端側に装着される光ファイバフェルールの先端部外径と同一外径の凸部とを備えた基材と該基材の凸部先端に設けられた端面装着用部材とを有し、前記端面装着用部材が前記光ファイバフェルールの端面に当接するようにして前記光コネクタアダプタの他端側に装着される光終端器であって、
前記端面装着用部材が、前記光ファイバフェルール中の光ファイバコアの屈折率とほぼ同一の屈折率を有する粘着剤からなることを特徴とする光終端器。 - 前記端面装着用部材が伝送光波長の光を透過させる材料からなり、前記端面装着用部材の光軸方向に対する厚さを前記端面装着用部材へ透過した光が拡散して減衰する長さ以上としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光終端器。
- 前記端面装着用部材が伝送光波長の光を吸収する材料を含有しており、前記端面装着用部材の光軸方向に対する厚さを前記端面装着用部材へ入射した光が吸収されて減衰する長さ以上としたことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光終端器。
- 前記端面装着用部材が緩衝部材を介して前記基材に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3いずれか記載の光終端器。
- 前記基材の前記端面装着用部材を設ける部分の面が、伝送光波長に対して吸光性を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4いずれか記載の光終端器。
- 前記基材の前記端面装着用部材を設ける部分の面が、前記光ファイバの光軸に対して傾斜していることを特徴とする請求項1〜5いずれか記載の光終端器。
- 前記基材の前記端面装着用部材を設ける部分の面が、光を散乱させる形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜6いずれか記載の光終端器。
- 前記端面装着用部材に屈折率の温度依存を防止する材料を混合したことを特徴とする請求項1〜7いずれか記載の光終端器。
- 前記基材が導電性材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜8いずれか記載の光終端器。
