図1は、本発明の実施の形態1における電池モジュールを構成する電池の断面図である。なお、以下では、複数の電池を並列に接続した電池モジュールを例に説明するが、電池モジュールとして、直列接続でもよい。

Claims (17)
- 複数の電池が配列されて筐体内に収納された電池モジュールであって、
前記電池は、該電池の電極部に、前記電池内で発生したガスを電池外に排出する開放部を有しており、
前記筐体は、前記電池の電極部周囲の電池ケースに当接して配設された配線基板によって、前記複数の電池を収容する収納部と、前記電極部の開放部から排出されるガスを前記筐体外に排気する排気室とに区画されており、
前記電池の電極部は、前記配線基板に形成された接続体に接続されており、
前記電極部の開放部は、前記配線基板に形成された貫通孔を介して、前記排気室に連通している、電池モジュール。 - 前記電池の電極部は、前記配線基板の貫通孔に挿入されている、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記配線基板は、耐熱性部材と弾性部材との積層構造を有し、該弾性部材の下面は、前記電池ケースに当接している、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記接続体は前記配線基板の上面に形成されており、前記配線基板の下面は、前記電池ケースに当接している、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電極部の高さは、前記配線基板の厚みと略同一である、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記配線基板に形成された前記貫通孔は、前記電池ケースと当接する側の大きさが、前記接続体側の大きさより小さい、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電極部の開放部は、該電極部の上面に設けられており、
前記電極部に接続された前記接続体は、少なくとも前記開放部が形成された部位において貫通穴が形成されている、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記電極部の開放部から排出されるガスは、前記貫通穴を介して前記排気室に排出される、請求項7に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電極部に接続された前記接続体は、前記配線基板に形成された複数の貫通孔を跨いで形成されている、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電極部の開放部は、該電極部の側面に設けられており、
前記配線基板に形成された貫通孔と前記電極部との間に、隙間が設けられている、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記電極部の開放部から排出されるガスは、前記隙間を介して前記排気室に排出される、請求項10に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記複数の電池は、各電池の電極部に接続された前記接続体によって並列接続されている、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記収納部は、前記配線基板によって、密閉状態になっている、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記筐体は、表面に絶縁加工を施した金属材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記筐体は、収納部と蓋体を有し、
前記収納部に、前記電池を個別に収納する隔壁部を設け、
前記蓋体に、前記筐体の前記隔壁部と対向する位置にリブ部を設けることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記筐体は、収納部と蓋体を有し、
前記蓋体と前記配線基板との間に、前記配線基板を保持する支持部材を、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 請求項1〜請求項16のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュールが複数個配列された電池パックであって、各電池モジュールは、直列接続および/または並列接続されている、電池パック。
