TRPGDA=トリプロピレングリコールジアクリレート
Cat Mix=マイケル触媒混合物組成物であって、Cat Mixの重量基準で、35重量%Na2CO3、36重量%Morcure(商標)2000、29重量%TRPGDAを含有するマイケル触媒混合物組成物。
500mL四口フラスコに110gの溶媒を添加し、メカニカルスターラーおよび温度制御機器を有する空気式ポットリフターを用いて90℃に温めた。フラスコの1つのアームにパートA(開始剤および溶媒)の添加漏斗を取り付け、別のフラスコのアームにパートB(AAEM、アクリレート、メタクリレート、連鎖移動剤、酸緩衝液などを含むモノマーを含有)を含有する添加漏斗を取り付けた。パートAについて、開始剤を溶媒中に溶解させた。反応容器が90℃に達したら、両方の添加漏斗を開けて、反応溶液中への両パートの速度が一定であるようにした。添加速度は、モノマー溶液(パートB)の添加が約1時間にわたって続き、一方、開始剤溶液(パートA)が約1.25時間にわたって添加されるように調節した。両添加が完了した後、反応溶液を90℃で1時間撹拌し、続いて、追加量の開始剤をフラスコに直接添加した。追加は、典型的にさらに1時間後に完了し、残存するモノマーを減じた。90℃での撹拌をさらに1時間続けた後、反応を停止した。溶液ポリマーを次に別の容器に温かい状態で移した。
TMPtrisAcAcを溶媒として用いる実施例1の方法を用いて、次のポリマー溶液を製造した。各モノマーの量は重量部である。
実施例2の方法を用いて、次のポリマーを製造し、試験し、以下に示す結果を得た。各ポリマーについて、モノマーおよび連鎖移動剤を表3−1に示し;結果として得られるポリマーの特性を表3−2に示す。
溶媒がグリセロールトリスアセトアセテートである以外は実施例2の方法を使用して次のポリマーを製造し、試験し、結果は以下に示すとおりであった。各ポリマーについて、モノマー、連鎖移動剤、およびその他の注記を表4−1に示し、得られたポリマーの特性を表4−2に示す。
他のアセトアセテート溶媒中のポリマー
溶媒が以下に記載するとおりである以外は実施例2の方法を用いて、次のポリマーを製造し、試験し、結果は下記に示すとおりであった。各ポリマーについて、溶媒、モノマー、開始剤、および連鎖移動剤を表5−1に示し、得られたポリマーの特性を表5−2に示す。
実施例1の手順を用い、TMPtrisAcAcの溶媒を用いて、次の重量部のモノマー比を有するポリマーを製造した:30AAEM/69BA/1AA(モノマーの合計重量基準で1.8重量%の量においてMPTMSのCTAを使用)。結果として得られたポリマー溶液は43%ポリマー固形分を有していた。結果として得られたポリマーはFox式により計算すると−35℃のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有する。
Morcure(商標)2000(5.77g)、TRPGDA(1.93g)およびCat Mix(1.66g)を45℃で混合して、均一な完全混合物を作成した。この完全混合物を45℃で実施例6の均一な混合物と組み合わせ、短時間混合した。45℃での初期ブルックフィールド粘度(スピンドル数25を有するBrookfield モデルDV−I+により、フルスケールの20%から80%の読みを提供するために十分な回転速度を用いて測定)は1.7Pa*S(1700cps)であった。粘度倍加時間は17.3分であり、これは完全混合物が有用な硬化が可能であることを示す。
Tg58℃を有するポリマーの調製
実施例1の手順を用い、TMPtrisAcAcの溶媒を用いて、次の重量部におけるモノマー比を有するポリマーを製造した:10AAEM/48VAc/45MMA/1AA(モノマーの合計重量基準で1.7重量%の量でMPTMSのCTAを使用)。結果として得られたポリマーは43%ポリマー固形分を有していた。結果として得られたポリマーはFox式により計算すると58℃のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有する。
Morcure(商標)2000(8.19g)、TRPGDA(2.9g)およびCat Mix(2.49g)を45℃で混合して、均一な完全混合物を作成した。この完全混合物を45℃で実施例8の均一な混合物と組み合わせ、短時間混合した。45℃での初期ブルックフィールド粘度(スピンドル数25を有するBrookfield モデルDV−I+により、フルスケールの20%から80%の読みを提供するために十分な回転速度を用いて測定)は2.4Pa*S(2400cps)であった。粘度倍加時間は27.2分であり、これは完全混合物が有用な硬化が可能であることを示す。
Claims (8)
- 溶媒中で1以上のモノマーを重合することを含むポリマー溶液の製造方法であって、前記モノマーが、多官能性マイケルドナーである1以上のエチレン性不飽和モノマーを含み、および前記溶媒が、前記溶媒の重量基準で40重量%以上の1以上の多官能性マイケルドナーを含む方法。
- 前記溶媒が、エチレン性不飽和ではない1以上の多官能性マイケルドナーを含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記の、多官能性マイケルドナーであるエチレン性不飽和モノマーが、1以上の、アクリル酸のエステル、または1以上の、メタクリル酸のエステルまたはその混合物を含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記の1以上のモノマーが、前記の、多官能性マイケルドナーであるエチレン性不飽和モノマーに加えて、多官能性マイケルドナーではない1以上のエチレン性不飽和モノマーを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記の、多官能性マイケルドナーではないエチレン性不飽和モノマーが、オレフィン、ビニルアセテート、スチレン、置換スチレン、アクリル酸のアルキルエステル、メタクリル酸のアルキルエステル、およびその混合物からなる群から選択される1以上の中性モノマーを含み;および前記の、多官能性マイケルドナーではないエチレン性不飽和モノマーが、1以上のカルボキシルモノマーをさらに含む、請求項4記載の方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法により製造されるポリマー溶液。
- 請求項1記載の方法を行い、および前記ポリマー溶液を
(i)1以上の多官能性マイケルアクセプターおよび
(ii)1以上のマイケル触媒
と混合することを含む、硬化性混合物の製造方法。 - 請求項7記載の方法により製造される硬化性混合物。
