Description
多糖及び/又は多糖誘導体と合成ポリマーとが粒径分布又は密度で異なれば、輸送及び貯蔵並びにまた取扱の間に分離が惹起され、該分離が合成ポリマーの不均一な分布に導くことがある。
A)粒子が複数の固相から形成され、
B)合成ポリマーの固相が多糖及び/又は多糖誘導体の固相中に存在することを特徴とする粒子組成物に関する。
A)好ましくは30〜80質量%の含水率を有する水で湿った多糖及び/又は多糖誘導体に、一種以上の水溶性又は水分散性の合成ポリマーを未溶解の形態で、乾燥したセルロースエーテルに対して0.01〜25質量%の全量で添加し、場合により他の助剤を添加し、かつ
B)この混合物を、好ましくは連続的に作業される均質化装置内で加工し塊状物を形成させ、場合により水をこの工程段階で添加し、かつ
C)生じた塊状物を粉砕、そして乾燥させるか又は先ず乾燥させかつ次いで粉砕させるか若しくは粉砕乾燥させる方法に関する。
市販の従来の横軸式ミキサ(Drais社製)内において、水で湿ったMHEC(35kg;DSメチル1.86;MSヒドロキシエチル0.27;含水率56質量%)とアクリルアミド及びアクリル酸塩のコポリマー(0.92kg;ポリアクリルアミドА;アクリル酸塩含有率20〜40モル%)とを一緒に混合させた。次いで、水を混合させながら72〜73質量%の含水率になるまで添加する。
実施例2
実施例1に記載したように、水で湿ったMHEC(48kg;DSメチル1.55;MSヒドロキシエチル0.27)とポリアクリルアミドА(0.93kg)とを一緒に混合させる。ポリアクリルアミドА添加後の含水率は、全乾燥塊状物に対して70質量%であった。更なる実験構成においては、約5〜10モル%のアクリル酸塩含有率を有するアクリルアミド及びアクリル酸塩のコポリマー(ポリアクリルアミドB)を使用する。引き続いて塊状物を、実施例1に記載したように攪拌槽中に満たし、かつ均質化及び粉砕させる。
4.8質量%のポリアクリルアミドBと一緒に混合された、水で湿ったMHEC(DSメチル1.55;MSヒドロキシエチル0.26;含水率58質量%)を、連続的に2軸スクリューに供給する。生成物流を18〜20kg/時間に調整する。2軸スクリューは60mmのスクリュー直径及び1200mmのスクリュー長さを有している。8〜9l/時間の水を、スクリューの胴の穿孔を通して添加する。
前記実施例からの水で湿ったMHEC(DSメチル1.55;MSヒドロキシエチル0.26;含水率59.4質量%)と、乾燥したMHECに対して10質量%のポリアクリルアミドАとを一緒に、Werner&Pfleiderer社製のZ字型羽根を装備する実験用混練機UK4−III1型内で混合させる。次いで、塊状物を70.5質量%の含水率になるまで湿らせ、かつ60分間混練させる。生成物を空気循環式の乾燥戸棚中で55℃で乾燥させ、かつ0.5mmのスクリーンを装備する実験用スクリーンミル(Alpine社製)内で粉砕させる。
本発明による方法:
水で湿ったMHEC(DSメチル1.57;MSヒドロキシエチル0.25;含水率63質量%)を連続的に2軸スクリューに供給する。生成物流を18〜20kg/時間に調整する。2軸スクリューは、60mmのスクリュー直径及び1200mmのスクリュー長さを有している。約14kg/時間の水を、スクリューの胴の穿孔を通して添加する。
更なる比較例においては、水に溶解されたポリアクリルアミドAをMHECに添加する。水中のポリアクリルアミドAの15質量%濃度の粘性溶液を、スクリューのシェルの穿孔を通して15kg/時間で添加する。このために、歯車ポンプを使用することが必要である。粉砕機内の激しい流れの変動のため、粉砕を実施できなかった。生成された塊状物は明らかに不均一であり、かつ溶解されたポリアクリルアミド及び実質的に不変のセルロースエーテルから構成されていた。
比較例においては、前記実施例からの、混練されていない水で湿ったMHEC出発材料をポリアクリルアミドを添加することなく加工した。このために、出発材料を更なる加工を行うことなく直ちに空気循環式の乾燥戸棚中で55℃で乾燥させ、かつ0.5mmのスクリーンを装備する実験用スクリーンミル(Alpine社製)内で粉砕させた。
実施例1に記載されたメチルヒドロキシエチルセルロース(比較例1)を、実施例1で使用したポリアクリルアミドAの4.6質量%と一緒に激しく乾式で混合させた(比較混合物1)。
Claims (2)
- 多糖誘導体の粒子並びに少なくとも一種の合成ポリマーの粒子を含む粒子組成物において、
1.粒子が複数の固相を含み、
2.合成ポリマーの固相が多糖誘導体の固相中に含まれており、かつ
3.多糖誘導体がセルロースエーテルであり、かつ合成ポリマーがポリアクリルアミドであることを特徴とする粒子組成物。 - 多糖誘導体の粒子並びに少なくとも一種の合成ポリマーの粒子を含む粒子組成物の製造方法において、多糖誘導体がセルロースエーテルであり、かつ合成ポリマーがポリアクリルアミドであり、かつ
A)30〜80質量%の含水率を有する水で湿った多糖誘導体に、一種以上の合成ポリマーを未溶解の形態で、乾燥した多糖誘導体に対して0.01〜25質量%の全量で添加し、かつ
B)この混合物を均質化装置内で、この工程段階で添加した水の不在又は存在下で塊状物に加工し、かつ
C)生じた塊状物を粉砕、そして乾燥させるか又は先ず乾燥させかつ次いで粉砕させるか若しくは粉砕乾燥させることを特徴とする方法。
