Claims (3)
- 燃料電池に用いられる薄型改質器であって、
内部に単層構造の流路が形成された基板と、
前記基板の流路内に燃料を流入させ、一定長さの導入チャンネルを通して燃料が流れるようにして燃料を予熱させる燃料導入部と、
前記燃料導入部の後流側に位置して液状の燃料を気化させる流路を具備した蒸発部と、
前記蒸発部の後流側に位置し、吸熱反応により燃料を水素ガスに改質させる流路を備えた改質部と、
前記改質部の後流側に位置し、発熱反応により前記水素ガスと共に含まれたCOガスを除去する流路を備え、ジグザグの蛇行に形成され、複数の隔壁によって区分けされたCO除去部と、
前記基板の上部を覆って内部流路を外部から遮蔽する蓋と、
基板の下部面に形成され前記基板を介して改質部の温度を一定温度に維持する前記改質部の加熱手段と、
基板の下部面に形成され前記基板を介してCO除去部の温度を一定温度に維持する前記CO除去部の加熱手段と
を含み、
前記導入チャンネルは、前記基板の外隔部分に沿って具備され、前記蒸発部、前記改質部および前記CO除去部を取り囲んだ流路として形成されることにより、前記蒸発部および前記改質部からの熱を吸収し、
前記蒸発部は前記改質部と前記CO除去部との間に配置され、
前記導入チャンネルは、前記CO除去部を形成する隔壁の外側であって、当該隔壁の長さ方向に内部に形成され、前記導入チャンネルに連結するスリットを含むことを特徴とする、
薄型改質器。 - 前記蒸発部の流路は、燃料導入部が始まる基板の一側角からその反対側の他側角に向かって形成された複数の隔壁によって基板の一側角から他側角にその流路が進行した後、再び方向を変えて反対に進行する形態で形成されるものであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の薄型改質器。
- 前記改質部と、前記CO除去部の間には、前記CO除去部の入側流路より流路断面積が狭い連結部が設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の薄型改質器。
