Claims (6)
- エアアシスト噴射ノズルであって、
混合及び噴霧化室と、加圧エア流がそこを通して前記混合及び噴霧化室内に向けられるエア入口オリフィスと、前記加圧エア流の方向に対して斜めに液体流がそこを通して前記混合及び噴霧化室内に向けられる液体入口オリフィスとを有する中空体と、
前記混合及び噴霧化室内に伸長する衝突柱であって、前記液体入口オリフィスに対向して配置され、前記液体入口オリフィスから前記室内へ向けられる液体流が衝突する端面を有する衝突柱と、
前記混合及び噴霧化室の中で前記衝突柱の上流にあり渦流が発生し得る角領域を除去するために、且つ、前記衝突柱付近で前記加圧エア流と液体流の混合を促進するために、前記エア入口オリフィスから前記衝突柱に隣接する位置まで伸長する円錐台形壁部分によって画定されるテーパ付き上流端を有する前記混合及び噴霧化室と、及び
前記混合及び噴霧化室と流体連通した放出オリフィスを有し、そこを通して前記噴霧化された液体が予め定められた噴射パターンに放出される噴射先端とを備える、エアアシスト噴射ノズル。 - 前記混合及び噴霧化室が、前記エア入口オリフィスの直径より少なくとも4倍の直径を持つ、請求項1に記載のエアアシスト噴射ノズル。
- 前記混合及び噴霧化室と流体連通した細長い管状胴を含み、
前記噴射先端が前記胴の下流端に予め定められた回転自在の向き付け関係に着脱自在に装着され、前記噴射先端が前記胴及び前記混合及び噴霧化室と流体連通する放出オリフィスを有し、そこを通して前記噴霧化された液体が予め定められた偏平な噴射パターンに放出され、
前記胴に固定された噴射先端が前記中空体に対して予め定められた関係に前記噴射パターンを放出するように、前記中空体に対して予め定められた回転自在前記胴を前記中空体に着脱自在に固定するための開放自在なファスナを含む、請求項1に記載のエアアシスト噴射ノズル。 - 前記円錐台形壁部分が、前記中空体の長手軸に対して25°の角度に伸長する、請求項1に記載のエアアシスト噴射ノズル。
- 前記エア入口オリフィスは、前記液体入口オリフィスの直径よりも小さい直径を有している、請求項1に記載のエアアシスト噴射ノズル。
- 前記エア入口オリフィスが、前記液体入口オリフィスの直径の0.80倍から0.93倍の間の直径である、請求項5に記載のエアアシスト噴射ノズル。
