Claims (11)
- 互いに接する状態で積層された複数の被溶着シートを有する被溶着材の表面に向けて、硬化させることが可能な液滴を吐出する第1液滴吐出ヘッドと、
前記第1液滴吐出ヘッドから吐出される前記液滴の、前記被溶着材の前記表面上における着弾位置を変更させる着弾位置変更手段と、
前記被溶着材の前記表面上で硬化した前記液滴に当接する当接子と、この当接子を振動させる振動手段とを含み、硬化した前記液滴を介して前記被溶着材に超音波振動を付与する超音波振動付与手段とを備えていることを特徴とする超音波溶着装置。 - 前記複数の被溶着シートを互いに接する状態に束ねて積層させることで前記被溶着材を作製する積層手段をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の超音波溶着装置。
- 前記被溶着材を挟み込む一対の搬送ローラを含んで構成され、挟み込んだ前記被溶着材を前記第1液滴吐出ヘッドから吐出された前記液滴が着弾しえる着弾位置に向けて搬送する搬送手段を備えており、前記一対の搬送ローラが、前記積層手段を兼ねていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の超音波溶着装置。
- 前記被溶着材を構成する前記複数の被溶着シートのうちの少なくとも1つにおける、他の被溶着シートと溶着される面に向けて、硬化させることが可能な液滴を吐出する第2液滴吐出ヘッドをさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の超音波溶着装置。
- 前記被溶着材が、前記複数の被溶着シートとは異なる材料からなり、その表層が前記被溶着材の前記表面となるように前記複数の被溶着シートとともに積層された表面形成シートをさらに有するものであって、
前記第1液滴吐出ヘッドが、前記表面形成シートに向けて前記液滴を吐出し、
前記超音波振動付与手段により超音波振動を付与されて前記複数の被溶着シート同士の溶着が完了した状態の前記被溶着材から、前記表面形成シートを剥離する剥離手段をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の超音波溶着装置。 - 前記被溶着材が、その表層が前記被溶着材の前記表面となるように前記複数の被溶着シートとともに積層され、所定の溶剤により溶解させることが可能な表面可溶層をさらに有するものであって、
前記複数の被溶着シート同士の溶着が完了した状態の前記被溶着材を前記所定の溶剤で処理することにより、前記複数の被溶着シートを残して前記表面可溶層を除去する可溶層除去手段をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の超音波溶着装置。 - 少なくとも前記第1液滴吐出ヘッドと前記超音波振動付与手段を制御する制御手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の超音波溶着装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記複数の被溶着シート同士の溶着強度に関する溶着強度情報に基づいて前記第1液滴吐出ヘッドを制御するものであり、前記溶着強度情報により強度の弱い溶着が指定されるほど前記表面に着弾する前記液滴の間隔が広くなるように制御することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の超音波溶着装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記被溶着材の前記表面において前記複数の被溶着シートが溶着される位置を指定する溶着位置データと、同じく前記表面において前記複数の被溶着シートを溶着することなく画像を形成するための画像データと、に応じて前記第1液滴吐出ヘッドを制御するものであり、
前記画像データに応じて前記第1液滴吐出ヘッドから前記液滴を吐出させるときは、前記溶着位置データに応じて前記第1液滴吐出ヘッドから液滴を吐出させるときよりも前記表面上で硬化した液滴が低くなるように、吐出される液滴の体積及び/又は数を決めるよう制御することを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載の超音波溶着装置。 - 前記第1液滴吐出ヘッドが、光硬化性の液滴を吐出するものであり、
前記第1液滴吐出ヘッドから吐出されて前記被溶着材の表面に付着した液滴に光を照射する光照射手段をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の超音波溶着装置。 - 互いに接する状態で積層された複数の被溶着シートを有する被溶着材の表面における、硬化させることが可能な液滴を着弾させるべき着弾位置を変更する着弾位置変更工程と、
前記着弾位置に向けて前記液滴を吐出する液滴吐出工程と、
前記被溶着材の前記表面上で硬化した前記液滴に当接子を当接させ、この当接子を振動させることにより、硬化した前記液滴を介して前記被溶着材に超音波振動を付与する超音波振動付与工程と、を備えていることを特徴とする溶着体の製造方法。
