のようにアンモニアと炭酸ガスに分解され、これにより容器15内の尿素水23aがアンモニア水に変換されると共に、容器15の上部空間27にはアンモニアガス13aが生成する。尚、このアンモニアガス13aには炭酸ガス及び蒸発した水分が含まれる。

Claims (4)
- 排気管の途中に選択還元型触媒を装備し且つ該選択還元型触媒の上流側にアンモニアを添加してNOxを還元浄化するようにした排気浄化装置であって、尿素水を収容する容器と、誘電体ペレットを収容して前記容器の尿素水内に設置した金網と、前記容器の尿素水にプラズマを作用してアンモニアを生成させる電極とを備えたアンモニア生成装置を設け、該アンモニア生成装置で生成したアンモニアを前記選択還元型触媒の上流側に供給するようにしたことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。
- 前記アンモニア生成装置からアンモニアガスを取り出すようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記アンモニア生成装置からアンモニア水を取り出すようにしたことを特徴とする請求項2記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記容器から取り出すアンモニアの濃度を検出するpH指示計を設け、該pH指示計からの検出値に基づき選択還元型触媒の上流側に供給するアンモニアの供給量を指令する制御装置を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の排気浄化装置。
