Claims (12)
- 装置であって、
変調器、分散調整モジュール及び光増幅器を含む光送信機であって、光パルスを自由空間光通信チャネルを介して送信するように構成された送信機
を備え、
該変調器が、データによって振幅及び/又は位相変調される光キャリアを生成するように構成され、
該分散調整モジュールが、該変調器と該増幅器の間に接続され、該変調器からの受信光パルスの時間幅を、該受信光パルスの分散を変化させることによって変化させるように構成された装置。 - 請求項1の装置であって、さらに、該光増幅器を介して通過してきた光パルスが時間的に狭められるように接続されている第2の分散調整モジュールを備えた装置。
- 請求項2の装置において、該第2の分散調整モジュールが該光送信機内に位置する装置。
- 請求項2の装置であって、さらに、
該自由空間光通信チャネルからの送信光パルスを受信するように配置された光受信機を備え、
該第2の分散調整モジュールが該光受信機内に位置する装置。 - 請求項3の装置であって、さらに、
該自由空間光通信チャネルからの送信光パルスを受信するように配置された光受信機、及び
該光増幅器を介して通過してきた光パルスが時間的に狭められるように接続されている第3の分散調整モジュール
を備え、該第3の分散調整モジュールが該光受信機内に位置する装置。 - 請求項2の装置において、該第2の分散調整モジュールが受信光パルスの時間幅を20%以上減少させるように構成された装置。
- 方法であって、
変調光キャリアを生成することによって光パルスのストリームを生成するステップ、
該ストリームの光パルスの分散を変化させて時間的に拡げられた対応する光パルスを生成する、(分散を変化させる)ステップ、
該時間的に拡げられた光パルスを光学的に増幅して対応する増幅された光パルスを生成する、(増幅するステップ)、及び
該増幅された光パルスを光受信機へ自由空間光通信チャネルを介して送信するステップ
を備える方法。 - 請求項7の方法であって、さらに、
光学的に増幅された光パルスの分散を変化させて時間的に狭められた対応する光パルスを生成する、(分散を変化させる)ステップを備える方法。 - 請求項7の方法において、該分散を変化させるステップが、該ストリームの光パルスの時間幅を少なくとも25%増加させる方法。
- 請求項7の方法において、該光学的に増幅された光パルスの分散を変化させるステップが、該光学的に増幅されたパルスの時間幅を20%以上減少させるステップを含む方法。
- 請求項1の装置において、前記受信光パルスの分散を変化させることが該受信光パルスの時間幅の拡大をもたらす、装置。
- 請求項11の装置において、前記光パルスの時間幅の拡大が前記受信光パルスのピーク輝度の減少をもたらす、装置。
