Description
図5には、燃料電池システム11のシステム構成図(プロセスフローシート)が示されている。この図に示される如く、燃料電池システム11は、水素を消費して発電を行う燃料電池12と、燃料電池12に供給するための水素含有の改質ガスを生成するための改質装置(改質器)10とを主要構成要素として構成されている。

この改質反応の中で主となる式(1)の水蒸気改質反応は吸熱反応であり、かつ改質流路18は、上記の通り中温又は高温で運転される燃料電池12に改質ガスを供給するため所定温度以上の温度で運転されるようになっている。加熱流路20は、この改質流路18における改質反応、運転温度を維持するための熱の供給する構成とされている。加熱流路20は、酸化触媒24を担持して改質流路18に隣接して設けられており、供給された燃料を酸素と共に酸化触媒24に接触させて触媒燃焼を生じさせる構成とされている。
図2には、熱交換型改質器10の概略全体構成が斜視図にて示されており、図1には、熱交換型改質器10の概略全体構成が分解斜視図にて示されている。これらの図に示される如く、熱交換型改質器10は、改質流路18、加熱流路20を構成する積層コア50と、積層コア50を収容するケース52とを主要構成要素として構成されている。
図6には、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る熱交換型改質器120が図2に対応する斜視図にて示されている。この図に示される如く、熱交換型改質器120は、断熱層112を複数の空間に区画するように積層コア50とケース52とを接合する区画用シール手段としての区画接合部122が形成されている点で、第1の実施形態に係る熱交換型改質器10とは異なる。
図8には、本発明の第3の実施形態に係る熱交換型改質器150が図2に対応する斜視図にて示されている。この図に示される如く、熱交換型改質器150は、ケース52に代えて各マニホルド94、96、98、102が形成されていないケース152を備え、該ケース152に別部材であるマニホルド部材154を接合することで各マニホルド94、96、98、102が構成されている点で、第1の実施形態に係る熱交換型改質器10とは異なる。

Claims (8)
- 熱交換流路形成部から第1入口流路形成部、第1出口流路形成部、第2入口流路形成部、及び第2出口流路形成部が同一平面に沿って独立して延設された複数の単位部材を積層することで、前記第1入口流路形成部から流入した第1熱交換媒体を前記第1出口流路形成部側に流出させる第1熱交換流路と、前記第2入口流路形成部から流入した第2熱交換媒体を前記第2出口流路形成部側に流出させる第2熱交換流路とが前記単位部材の熱交換流路形成部を介して隣接した熱交換部を複数含んで構成された積層コアと、
前記積層コアの外形に対応して形成され、該積層コアに対する前記第1熱交換媒体、第2熱交換媒体の流入出可能に該積層コアを収容するケースと、
前記ケースに対し前記積層コアを非接触状態で支持するように該ケースの内面と積層コアの外面との間に介在することで、該ケースと積層コアとの間に外部空間とは仕切られた閉空間である断熱層を形成する断熱層形成用シール手段と、
備えた熱交換器。 - 前記断熱層形成用シール手段は、前記積層コアにおける第1入口流路形成部の積層部分、第1出口流路形成部の積層部分、第2入口流路形成部の積層部分、及び第2出口流路形成部の積層部分と前記ケースとの間を、それぞれ熱交換媒体の流れ方向との交差面に沿う全周に亘ってシールしている請求項1記載の熱交換器。
- 前記断熱層は真空層である請求項1又は請求項2記載の熱交換器。
- 前記ケースに対し前記積層コアを非接触状態で支持するように該ケースの内面と積層コアの外面との間に介在することで、前記断熱層を複数の閉空間に区画する区画用シール手段をさらに備えた請求項3記載の熱交換器。
- 前記断熱層形成用シール手段及び区画用シール手段の少なくとも一部は、前記ケースと前記積層コアとを機械的に接合した接合部である請求項1乃至請求項4の何れか1項記載の熱交換器。
- 前記接合部の少なくとも一部は、前記積層コアの熱変形を抑制する補強機能を有するように配置されている請求項5記載の熱交換器。
- 前記ケースにおける前記積層コアにおける第1入口流路形成部の積層部分、第1出口流路形成部の積層部分、第2入口流路形成部の積層部分、及び第2出口流路形成部の積層部分を収容する部分には、それぞれ前記第1入口流路形成部、第1出口流路形成部、第2入口流路形成部、又は第2出口流路形成部の開口部に連通する空間を形成するマニホルド部が設けられている請求項1乃至請求項6の何れか1項記載の熱交換器。
- 前記第1入口流路形成部側から導入した改質原料から水素含有ガスを生成する改質反応を行うための改質流路を前記第1熱交換流路とすると共に、前記第2入口流路形成部側から供給された燃料を燃焼して前記改質流路に改質反応を進行するための熱を供給するための加熱流路を前記第2熱交換流路として、請求項1乃至請求項7の何れか1項記載の熱交換器が適用された熱交換型改質器。
