Description
本発明に係るオレフイン重合触媒用球形担体の製造方法は、反応開始剤として窒素ハロゲン化合物の存在下に金属マグネシウムとアルコールとを反応させることを含み、前記窒素ハロゲン化合物は前記金属マグネシウム1重量部に対し0.001〜0.2重量部、前記アルコールは前記金属マグネシウム1重量部に対し5〜50重量部が使用されることを特徴とする。
撹拌機とオイルヒーター、冷却還流機が装着された5Lサイズの硝子反応器を窒素で十分に換気させたあと、N-クロロコハク酸イミド1.65g、金属マグネシウム(平均粒径100μmである粉末製品)15g、無水エタノール240mlを投入し、撹拌速度を240rpmで作動しながら反応器の温度を78℃に上げエタノールが還流される状態を維持した。約5分が経過すると反応が始まりながら水素が発生するので、発生される水素が抜け出るように反応器の出口を開いた状態において反応器の圧力を常圧に維持する。水素発生が終わると金属マグネシウム(平均粒径が100μmである粉末製品)15gとエタノール240mlを3回に分けて毎20分毎に投入した。金属マグネシウムとエタノールの注入が全部終われば反応器温度及び撹拌速度を還流状態に2時間維持した(熟成処理)。熟成処理が終わった後、50℃で洗浄1回当りノーマルへキサン2,000mlを使用して結果物を3回洗浄した。洗浄された結果物を流れる窒素下で24時間乾燥させ流れ性が良い白色粉末状の固体生成物270g(収率96%)(担体)を得た。
(2)粒度分布指数(P):P=(D90−D10)/D50
(ここで、D90は累積重量90%に該当される粒子のサイズであり、D10は累積重量10%に該当される粒子のサイズである。)
前記の観察、測定及び決定された結果を表1及び図1に表した。
前記の実施例1で反応開始剤として、N-クロロコハク酸イミド1.65gの代わりにN-クロロフタルイミド2.2gを使用したことを除いては、前記の実施例1と同一な方法にして、流れ性が非常に良い白色粉末状の固体生成物267g(収率94.5%)を得た。
前記の実施例1で反応開始剤として、N-クロロコハク酸イミド1.65gの代わりにN-ブロモコハク酸イミド2.2gを使用したことを除いては前記の実施例1と同一な方法にして、流れ性が非常に良い白色粉末状の固体生成物272g(収率96.3%)を得た。
前記の実施例1で反応開始剤として、N-クロロコハク酸イミド1.65gの代わりにトリクロロイソシアヌル酸0.96gを使用したことを除いては、前記の実施例1と同一な方法にして、流動性が非常に良い白色粉末状の固体生成物275g(収率97.4%)を得た。
前記の実施例1で反応開始剤として、N-クロロコハク酸イミド1.65gの代わりに1,3-ジブロモ-5,5-ジメチルヒダントイン3.5gを使用したことを除いては前記の実施例1と同一な方法にして、流動性が非常に良い白色粉末状の固体生成物269g(収率95.3%)を得た。
撹拌機とオイルヒーター、冷却還流機が装着された5Lサイズの硝子反応器を窒素で十分に換気させた後、ヨード3g、 金属マグネシウム(平均粒径100μmである粉末製品)15g、無水エタノ−ル240mlを投入し、撹拌機を240rpmで作動しながら反応器の温度を78℃に上げエタノールが還流される状態を維持した。次に、エタノールが還流されている反応器に金属マグネシウム(平均粒径が100μmである粉末製品)15gとエタノ−ル240mlを20分間隔で3回に分けて投入した。金属マグネシウムがすべて投入された後にはエタノールが還流される条件で2時間同一な撹拌速度を維持した(熟成処理)。熟成処理が終った後、50℃で洗浄1回当りノーマルへキサン2,000mlを使用して結果物を3回洗浄した。洗浄された結果物を流れる窒素下で24時間乾燥させ白色粉末状の固体生成物270g(収率96%)を得た。
Claims (1)
- 反応開始剤として下記の一般式IないしIVの化合物からなる群から選択される窒素ハロゲン化合物の存在下に金属マグネシウムと一般式ROH(ここで、Rは炭素数1〜6のアルキル基である。)で表示される脂肪族アルコールとを反応させることを含み、前記窒素ハロゲン化合物は前記金属マグネシウム1重量部に対して0.001〜0.2重量部、前記脂肪族アルコールは前記金属マグネシウム1重量部に対して5〜50重量部が使用されることを特徴とするオレフイン重合触媒用球形担体の製造方法。
