Description
以下、本発明の光学素子の製造方法について詳細に説明する。なお、本発明における光学素子は、ガラス基材の少なくとも一部に形成された、基材とは異なる屈折率を有する領域又は屈折率分布を有する領域を利用して、所望の光学特性を発揮するものを言い、具体的には屈折率分布型レンズ、屈折率分布型レンズアレイ、光導波路、回折格子等が該当する。
(屈折率分布型Y字状光導波路の作製)
市販SiO2−B2O3−Na2O系ホウケイ酸塩ガラス(型番:BK7、ショット製)を基材(縦20mm×横20mm×厚さ3mm)として用いて、下記の方法で光導波路を作製した。
(屈折率分布型マイクロレンズの作製)
市販SiO2−CaO−Na2O系ケイ酸塩ガラスを基材(型番:B270、ショット製)(縦20mm×横20mm×厚さ3mm)として用いて、下記の方法でマイクロレンズを作製した。
(屈折率分布型マイクロレンズアレイの作製)
SiO2:54重量%、B2O3:22重量%、(Li2O,Na2O及びK2O):合量で12重量%、Al2O3:10重量%、ZnO:2重量%の組成のガラスを基材(縦10mm×横10mm×厚さ3mm)として用いて、下記の方法で屈折率分布型マイクロレンズアレイを作製した。
Claims (4)
- アルカリ金属成分をガラス構成成分として含むガラス基材に、リチウム化合物、カリウム化合物、ルビジウム化合物、セシウム化合物、銀化合物及びタリウム化合物から選ばれる少なくとも1種、有機樹脂並びに有機溶剤を含有するペーストを塗布し、ガラス基材の軟化温度より低い温度で熱処理することを特徴とする光学素子の製造方法。
- ガラス基材が、アルカリ金属成分を酸化物換算で2重量%以上含むガラスからなり、該ガラスがケイ酸塩ガラス、ホウケイ酸塩ガラス、リン酸塩ガラス又は弗リン酸塩ガラスである請求項1記載の製造方法。
- 光学素子が、屈折率分布型レンズ、屈折率分布型レンズアレイ、光導波路又は回折格子である請求項1記載の製造方法。
- 光学素子が、スラブ型又はチャネル型光導波路である請求項1記載の製造方法。
