Claims (14)
- シフト反応触媒が内部に充填され、反応物が流入される入口と生成物が排出される出口とを備えたシフト反応器であって、
前記出口の側に、前記シフト反応触媒に向けて酸素を供給する酸素供給管と、当該酸素供給管による酸素供給を制御する弁とをさらに備え、
前記酸素供給管の位置が、反応物の流れの方向を基準としてシフト反応触媒層の上流側の1/2の範囲内となる位置以外に位置することを特徴とする、燃料電池用のシフト反応器。 - 前記出口の側に、酸素と接触した際に、自発的に酸化されつつ発熱する自然発熱物を含む自然発熱層をさらに備え、前記自然発熱層がシフト反応触媒層と接触することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器。
- 前記自然発熱層は、遷移金属、その酸化物またはこれらの混合物を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器。
- 前記遷移金属は、Cr、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu、Mo、Zn、Sn、Al、及びTiからなる群から選択された1種以上の金属であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器。
- 前記自然発熱層は、遷移金属、その酸化物またはこれらの混合物の粒子を含み、前記粒子の比表面積は、40m2/g以上3000m2/g以下であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器。
- 前記自然発熱物の酸化反応の反応熱は、30kcal/mol以上200kcal/mol以下であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器。
- 前記自然発熱層は、シフト反応触媒を含み、前記シフト反応触媒の間に自然発熱物がほぼ均一に散在することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器。
- 前記シフト反応触媒の100重量部に対して、前記自然発熱物の含量が0.1乃至20重量部であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器。
- 前記出口の側の内部に、前記酸素供給管と連結されて酸素を分散供給する分配器をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器。
- 前記酸素供給管は、前記出口を中心に対称に複数個備えられたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器を備えることを特徴とする、燃料電池用の燃料処理装置。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器を備えることを特徴とする、燃料電池システム。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器の運転方法であって、
(a)前記シフト反応器の出口側に備えられた前記酸素供給管を通じて酸素を供給することによって、シフト反応触媒層の温度を上昇させるステップと、
(b)前記シフト反応触媒層で、温度が最も低い点の温度が改質された燃料の露点以上になった場合に、前記シフト反応器に改質された燃料を供給するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする、燃料電池用のシフト反応器の運転方法。 - 前記燃料電池用のシフト反応器が前記酸素供給管を遮断し、改質された燃料を供給することによって、前記シフト反応触媒層または前記自然発熱層の物質を還元させて再生することを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の燃料電池用のシフト反応器の運転方法。
