Description
本発明は、深い充放電が繰り返されても活物質が剥離し難く、長寿命であり、かつ高生産性の、特に自動車用に適した鉛蓄電池の製造法の提供を目的とする。
請求項2記載発明の鉛蓄電池の製造法は、前記正極活物質に金属化合物を、金属濃度で500〜5000ppm添加したもので、前記金属の析出がより効率よくなされる。
逆充電終了後、電流の方向を順方向に変えて16時間充電(初充電)して、定格容量28Ahの液式自動車用鉛蓄電池を製造した。
実施例1および比較例1〜4の調査結果を表1に示した。
Claims (2)
- Pb−Ca系合金から成る正極格子に金属化合物を添加した正極活物質が充填され、化成処理開始前に逆充電が施される鉛蓄電池の製造法であって、前記金属化合物の金属はSn、Bi、Sb、Zn、Cd、Ga、Ge、In、Tlの硫酸塩或いは酸化物の1種又は2種以上であり、前記逆充電が前記金属化合物の金属を総て還元するのに必要な理論電気量の50〜300%の電気量を流して施されることを特徴とする鉛蓄電池の製造法。
- 前記正極活物質に金属化合物が、金属濃度で500〜5000ppm添加されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の鉛蓄電池の製造法。
