Description
1.無機弱酸のアルカリ金属塩およびアルカリ金属水酸化物;
2.有機弱酸のアルカリ金属塩、アルカリ金属アルコラートおよびフェノラート;
3.4級アンモニウムおよび4級ホスホニウム水酸化物、アルコラート、フェノラート、ハライドおよび弱酸との塩;
4.3級アミン;
5.グアニジン、アリール−およびアルキルグアニジン;および
6.ヘテロサイクリック3級アミン。
相対的に評価するために、一連の4種類の異なるブレンド物を調製し、試験した。それぞれの実験において、市販品グレードの、硬化部位モノマーとしての4重量%のマレイン酸メチル水素ターモノマーを含むエチレン/アクリル酸メチルランダムコポリマー(41重量%エチレンおよび55%アクリル酸メチル)(本願特許出願人により商品名バマック(Vamac(登録商標))として販売されている)を使用した。実験1および3では、バマック(Vamac)ターポリマー100部あたり、硬化剤として1.5重量部のHMDACを使用した。実験2および4では、硬化剤として、1.55重量部のHMDAを、70/30のHMDA/水の溶液(pH約12)の形で使用した。1.5pphのHMDACと、1.55pphの70/30HMDA/H2Oとでは、同じモル量の硬化剤を使用している。実験1および2ではさらに、100部のバマック(Vamac(登録商標))あたり、標準レベルの4重量部の硬化のための促進剤としてのジオルトトリルグアニジン(DOTG)を使用したが、実験3および4では、促進剤のDOTGは使用しなかった。それぞれの実験ではさらに、60重量部のカーボンブラックと、さらに抗酸化剤およびその他の添加剤とを含んでいた。それぞれの組成物の詳細と、結果データは表1に示している。
参考例1と同様にして、一連の6種類のさらなる実験を行い、試験した。実験1は対照である。実験2および3では、HMDA/H2O溶液にシリカキャリヤーを使用している。実験4および5では、HMDA/H2O溶液のためのキャリヤーとしてカーボンブラックを使用している。実験6では、キャリヤーとしてDOTGを使用している。
参考例1と同様にして同じ手順を用いて、HMDAC/DOTG硬化系を用いて架橋可能であることが知られている、2種の異なるポリアクリレート(ACM)型エラストマー(すなわち、日本国、日本ゼオン(株)から市販されているAR−12およびAR−14)を用いて、一連の5種類のさらなるブレンド物を調製し、試験した。実験1は、HMDAC/DOTG硬化剤系を使用して実施し、実験2および4では、HMDA/水プラスDOTG硬化剤系を使用し、実験5では、HMDA/水を沈降シリカプラスDOTGの上に蒸着または分散させた。実験3では、ジアミン硬化剤を使用しなかった。表3に示したデータから判るのは、本発明の水性HMDA硬化剤が、ポリアクリレート(ACM)型エラストマーに対しても効果があるということである。
Claims (3)
- 架橋したエチレンアクリレートエラストマーまたはポリアクリレートエラストマーを製造するための方法であって、
ヘキサメチレンジアミンを含む水溶液を製造し、
前記水溶液が粒子状充填剤上に蒸着されて乾燥液状濃縮物を製造する条件で、前記充填剤と前記溶液を混合し、
前記濃縮物をコポリマーと接触させて、コポリマー1キログラムあたり0.06〜0.30モルのアミノ官能基を含む混合物を製造し、
前記混合物を加熱して前記コポリマーを架橋する工程を含み、前記コポリマーが、1,4−ブテン二酸のモノアルキルエステル硬化部位ターモノマーをそれぞれ含む、エチレン/アクリル酸アルキルコポリマー、またはポリアクリレートコポリマーであり、前記充填剤は無機材料であることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記水溶液が70重量%のヘキサメチレンジアミンおよび30重量%の水を含み、濃縮物が自由に流れることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記充填剤が、カーボンブラック、ヒュームドシリカまたはシリカであることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の方法。
