Claims (5)
- 内燃機関の動弁装置用ロッカアーム(26)に装着される油圧タペットにおいて、
前記ロッカアーム(26)の一端部に設けた装着孔(66)に摺動可能に装着される有底円筒状のボディ(67)と、該ボディ(67)に摺動可能に嵌合されるプランジャ(68)と、前記ボディ(67)の閉塞端および前記プランジャ(68)の一端間に形成される高圧室(69)ならびに前記プランジャ(68)内に形成される油室(70)間に介装されて前記プランジャ(68)の一端に設けられるチェックバルブ(71)と、前記装着孔(66)内で前記ボディ(67)の開放側の端部と前記プランジャ(68)との間に形成されて前記油室(70)に常時連通する環状油室(92)と、その環状油室(92)内において、前記高圧室(69)の容積を増大させる側に前記プランジャ(68)を付勢するばね力を発揮して前記ボディ(67)および前記プランジャ(68)間に設けられる戻しばね(72)とを備え、
前記環状油室(92)には、前記ロッカアーム(26)に設けられてオイルポンプからのオイルを導く通路(107)が直接連通していることを特徴とする油圧タペット。 - 前記環状油室(92)に収容されて前記プランジャ(68)を囲繞するコイル状の前記戻しばね(72)の両端が、前記ボディ(67)および前記プランジャ(68)に係合されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の油圧タペット。
- 前記プランジャ(68)の他端部には、軸方向外方に向かうにつれて大径となるテーパ状の面取り部(86a)を軸方向外端に有する圧入孔(86)が設けられ、前記プランジャ(68)と同軸に延びる軸部(87a)と、該軸部(87a)に同軸に連なるフランジ部(87b)とを一体に有するキャップ(87)が、前記高圧室(69)とは反対側で前記油室(70)の端部を閉じるべく前記フランジ部(87b)を前記プランジャ(68)の他端面に対向、当接させるまで前記軸部(87a)を前記圧入孔(86)に圧入せしめて前記プランジャ(68)の他端部に固定され、前記軸部(87a)の外周には、前記油室(70)に通じる第1エア抜き通路(89)を前記圧入孔(86)の内面との間に形成するようにして軸方向に延びる切欠き(88)が設けられ、前記プランジャ(68)の他端面には、第2エア抜き通路(91)を前記フランジ部(87b)との間に形成して前記プランジャ(68)の半径方向に沿って延びる溝(90)が、その内端を前記面取り部(86a)の内面に開口させるようにして設けられることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の油圧タペット。
- 前記チェックバルブ(71)は、前記プランジャ(68)との間に弁室(79)を形成するようにして前記プランジャ(68)の一端部に取付けられるケージ(80)と、前記油室(70)に通じる弁孔(76)を中央部に開口させるとともに前記弁室(79)に臨んで前記プランジャ(68)に設けられるテーパ状の弁座(81)と、該弁座(81)に着座し得るようにして前記弁室(79)に収容される球状の弁体(82)とで構成され、前記弁座(81)寄りの部分で前記弁室(79)に内端が通じるとともに外端がプランジャ(68)の外周に開口した複数のエア抜き孔(83)が、前記プランジャ(68)に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の油圧タペット。
- 削り出し加工によって短円筒状に形成される前記ケージ(80)が、前記プランジャ(68)の一端部に圧入されることを特徴とする請求項4記載の油圧タペット。
