Claims (13)
- 起動信号の受信に応答して始動するイニシエータと、該イニシエータに連結されるリテーナとを具備し、該リテーナがコネクタの少なくとも1つのリブに適合する形状とされた少なくとも3つのスプラインを有し、前記コネクタから前記イニシエータに起動信号を伝送することができるように前記コネクタが少なくとも3つの方位で前記リテーナに係合可能であり、前記スプラインとリブとが前記方位間での前記コネクタの回転を防止するように噛合している、火工装置用の点火組立体。
- 前記スプラインが前記リテーナの径方向外方の面に配置されている請求項1に記載の点火組立体。
- 前記スプラインが前記リテーナの径方向内側の面に配置されている請求項1に記載の点火組立体。
- 前記リテーナに取り付けられたボディをさらに具備し、該ボディが前記イニシエータの少なくとも一部を包囲している請求項1に記載の点火組立体。
- 前記リテーナとボディとがそれぞれポリマー材料から構成されており、前記リテーナが前記ボディに超音波溶接されている請求項4に記載の点火組立体。
- 前記イニシエータがセンターピンと、該センターピンの少なくとも一部を包囲するヘッダーアイレットと、密封シールを提供するように前記ヘッダーアイレットに溶接されるカップと、前記センターピンとヘッダーアイレットとを電気的に連結するブリッジワイヤと、該ブリッジワイヤの燃焼に応答して点火するように配置された所定量の点火剤とを有する請求項4に記載の点火組立体。
- 前記イニシエータをインフレータのハウジングから電気的に絶縁するように前記ボディに取り付けられるカバーをさらに具備する請求項6に記載の点火組立体。
- 前記リテーナの少なくとも一部を包囲するように配置されるカラーをさらに具備し、該カラーがインフレータのハウジング内に保持される形状をしている請求項1に記載の点火組立体。
- 前記リテーナが取外不能なコネクタと取外可能なコネクタとに交換可能に相互ロックされる形状をしており、前記取外可能なコネクタがメインボディとロックブラケットとを有し、該ロックブラケットが前記取外可能なコネクタが前記リテーナから取外可能である非ロック状態と前記取外可能なコネクタが前記リテーナから取外不能であるロック状態との間で前記メインボディに対して移動可能である請求項1に記載の点火組立体。
- 火工装置用の始動組立体において、起動信号の受信に応答して始動するイニシエータと、該イニシエータの少なくとも一部を包囲するボディと、該ボディに一体的に設けられたリテーナとを具備し、該リテーナが起動信号をコネクタからイニシエータに伝送することができるようにコネクタが少なくとも3つの方位でリテーナに係合可能であるようにコネクタの少なくとも1つのリブに適合する形状の少なくとも3つのスプラインを有し、該スプラインと前記リブとが前記方位間におけるコネクタの回転を防止するように噛合している始動組立体。
- 前記リテーナおよび前記ボディとの少なくとも一部を包囲するように配置されるカラーをさらに具備し、該カラーがインフレータのハウジング内に保持される形状をしている請求項10に記載の始動組立体。
- 前記カラーが第1の部品と該第1の部品に取り付けられた第2の部品とを有し、前記ボディが前記第1の部品に係合するようにインサート成形される請求項11に記載の始動組立体。
- 乗り物の乗員を衝撃から保護するためのエアバッグモジュール用のインフレータにおいて、ハウジングと、該ハウジング内に少なくとも部分的に配置され、起動信号の受信に応答して始動するイニシエータと、該イニシエータに連結されるリテーナとを具備し、該リテーナがコネクタから前記イニシエータに起動信号を伝送することができるように前記コネクタが前記リテーナに少なくとも3つの方位で係合可能なように前記コネクタの少なくとも1つのリブに適合する形状をした少なくとも3つのスプラインを有し、該スプラインと前記リブとが前記方位間での前記コネクタの回転を防止するように噛合するインフレータ。
