Description
Claims (11)
- 車両安全装置のガス発生器用のイニシエータであって、
カップと、
前記カップの内部に配置された一次火工材料と、
前記カップの内部に配置された二次火工材料と、
前記一次火工材料を前記二次火工材料から密閉分離する分離部材と、
前記カップの内部に少なくとも部分的に配置され、前記一次火工材料を収容する空洞を有するアダプタとを備え、
前記空洞が前記分離部材によって閉じられることを特徴とするイニシエータ。 - 前記アダプタと前記分離部材が別体として形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイニシエータ。
- 前記分離部材が、前記一次火工材料の点火に応答して開くように構成された弱化ゾーンを含む、請求項1又は2に記載のイニシエータ。
- 前記分離部材が、金属から構築されている、請求項1、2又は3に記載のイニシエータ。
- 前記分離部材が、前記弱化ゾーンを含む円盤形状部分を含む、請求項3に記載のイニシエータ。
- 前記分離部材が、円盤形状部分から延びる円筒形側壁を含み、前記円筒形側壁が、前記アダプタの一部分の外周を取り囲む、請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載のイニシエータ。
- 前記アダプタが、前記一次火工材料を収容する第1の部分を含む中央開口部を含む、請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載のイニシエータ。
- 前記イニシエータが、第1の電気コネクタと、第2の電気コネクタとを更に備え、前記第1の電気コネクタ及び前記第2の電気コネクタが、前記アダプタの前記中央開口部内に延び、反応して前記一次火工材料との連通を開始する、請求項7に記載のイニシエータ。
- 前記アダプタ、前記カップ、及び前記分離部材がそれぞれ、金属から構築されている、請求項1乃至8の何れか1項に記載のイニシエータ。
- 前記カップが、前記アダプタに溶接されており、前記分離部材が、前記アダプタに溶接されている、請求項9に記載のイニシエータ。
- 前記アダプタが、円筒形の形状を有し、前記カップが、前記アダプタの第1の軸方向端近接の前記アダプタに溶接されており、前記分離部材が、前記アダプタの第2の軸方向端近接の前記アダプタに溶接されている、請求項10に記載のイニシエータ。
