Description

静止摩擦は、μTすなわちSAE番号2試験手順からの安定化された静止係数で表される。試験手順は、日本自動車標準、JASO M−348−95、「自動車トランスミッション流体の摩擦特性についての試験手順」に記載されている。
潤滑剤処方物は、以下の成分を合わせることによって調製される(%は重量%である):

実施例15の処方物をSAE番号2摩擦試験に供し、0.108〜0.109の静止摩擦係数を有することが見出される。1200r.p.m.(μ1200)および0r.p.m.(μ0)での摩擦係数を測定し、μ0/μ1200の値が、1.025であると決定する。それにより、この処方物は、トラクター油圧流体として使用するための良好な摩擦性能を呈する。

ヘテロ置換基、すなわち、優勢的に炭化水素の特性を有しながら、本発明の文脈において、環またはそうでなければ炭素原子から構成される鎖中に炭素以外のものを含む置換基。ヘテロ原子としては、硫黄、酸素、窒素が挙げられ、ピリジル、フリル、チエニルおよびイミダゾリルのような置換基が包含される。一般に、2以下の、好ましくは、1以下の非炭化水素置換基が、ヒドロカルビル基中の10個の炭素原子ごとに存在し;代表的に、ヒドロカルビル基中に非炭化水素置換基は存在しない。
Claims (13)
- トランスミッション、ギアボックス、またはベアリングに潤滑性を与えるための流体組成物であって、以下の(a)および(b):
(a)イソステアリン酸またはその酸無水物、酸ハロゲン化物、もしくはエステルとトリス−ヒドロキシメチルアミノメタンとの反応生成物から成る摩擦調節剤であって、該反応生成物が、少なくとも2つの分枝鎖アルキル基を含み、該イソステアリン酸またはその酸無水物、酸ハロゲン化物、もしくはエステルとトリス−ヒドロキシメチルアミノメタンとを1.9:1〜2.1:1のモル比で反応させることによって得られ、該分枝鎖アルキル基の各々が、少なくとも6つの炭素原子を含む、摩擦調節剤;ならびに
(b)(a)の種以外の分散剤
を含む、組成物。 - 請求項1に記載の組成物であって、前記イソステアリン酸またはその酸無水物、酸ハロゲン化物、もしくはエステルおよび前記トリス−ヒドロキシメチルアミノメタンが、2:1のモル比で反応される、組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物であって、2つのアルキル基の各々が、少なくとも8つの炭素原子を含む、組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物であって、前記(b)の分散剤が、カルボン酸分散剤、スクシンイミド分散剤、アミン分散剤、またはマンニッヒ分散剤である、組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物であって、潤滑粘性の油をさらに含む、組成物。
- 請求項5に記載の組成物であって、成分(a)の量が組成物の0.2重量%〜5重量%であり、そして成分(b)の量が組成物の1重量%〜4重量%である、組成物。
- 請求項5に記載の組成物であって、粘度調節剤、補足摩擦調節剤、界面活性剤、酸化阻害剤またはリン化合物をさらに含む、組成物。
- トランスミッション、ギアボックス、またはベアリングに潤滑性を与える方法であって、トランスミッション、ギアボックス、またはベアリングに請求項1に記載の組成物を供給する工程を包含する、方法。
- トランスミッション、ギアボックス、またはベアリングに潤滑性を与えるための方法であって、(a)イソステアリン酸またはその酸無水物、酸ハロゲン化物、もしくはエステルとトリス−ヒドロキシメチルアミノメタンとの反応生成物から成る摩擦調節剤および(b)(a)の種以外の分散剤を含む流体組成物をトランスミッション、ギアボックス、またはベアリングに供給する工程を包含し、該反応生成物が、少なくとも2つの分枝鎖アルキル基を含み、該イソステアリン酸またはその酸無水物、酸ハロゲン化物、もしくはエステルとトリス−ヒドロキシメチルアミノメタンとを1.9:1〜2.1:1のモル比で反応させることによって得られ、該分枝鎖アルキル基の各々が、少なくとも6つの炭素原子を含む、方法。
- 請求項8または9に記載の方法であって、前記組成物が、自動トランスミッションに供給される、方法。
- 自動トランスミッションに潤滑性を与える方法であって、イソステアリン酸またはその酸無水物、酸ハロゲン化物、もしくはエステルとトリスヒドロキシメチルアミノメタンとの反応から誘導される摩擦調節剤を自動トランスミッションに供給する工程を包含し、ここで、該イソステアリン酸またはその酸無水物、酸ハロゲン化物、もしくはエステルと該トリス−ヒドロキシメチルアミノメタンをモル比で1.9:1〜2.1:1で反応させ、該摩擦調節剤が、少なくとも2つの分枝鎖アルキル基を含み、その各々が少なくとも6つの炭素原子を含む、方法。
- トラクターに潤滑性を与える方法であって、トラクターにトラクター油圧流体として請求項1に記載の組成物を供給する工程を包含する、方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法であって、前記組成物がトラクター油圧流体としてトラクターに供給される、方法。
