また有機樹脂溶液としては、アクリル系樹脂(メタクリル酸メチルポリマー、三菱レイヨン株式会社製、BR−80)をトルエン溶剤中に10重量%の濃度で溶解したものを用いた。

Claims (2)
- ヨウ素を吸着配向させたポリビニルアルコール系樹脂からなる偏光素子上に、ポリシラザン成分と有機樹脂成分との重量比が1:9〜3:2となるようにポリシラザンと有機樹脂が溶剤中に溶解された塗布液を塗布して塗布膜を形成し、
前記塗布膜を、温度60℃以上100℃以下の条件下で加熱処理後、温度40℃以上80℃以下、湿度60%以上90%以下の条件下で湿度処理を行うことにより反応硬化し0.3μm以上10μm以下の膜厚の有機無機ハイブリッド膜を形成する

前記表示セルを挟み込むように配置される一対の偏光板と
を具備し、
前記偏光板は、対向する第1面と第2面を有するヨウ素を吸着配向させたポリビニルアルコール系樹脂からなる偏光素子と、前記第1面にポリシラザン成分と有機樹脂成分との重量比が1:9〜3:2となるようにポリシラザンと有機樹脂が溶剤中に溶解された溶液を塗布し、該塗布膜を温度60℃以上100℃以下の条件下で加熱処理後、温度40℃以上80℃以下、湿度60%以上90%以下の条件下で湿度処理を行うことにより形成された前記第1面に設けられた0.3μm以上10μm以下の膜厚の有機無機ハイブリッド膜とを有し、前記第2面が前記表示セル側に位置するように配置される
