Claims (3)
- ころがり軸受での軌道輪そして転動体のような軸受部材に改善されたころがり接触面を形成する方法であって、
ころがり軸受部材(1)を形成する工程と、
ハードターニング工具(4)によりころがり軸受部材(1)の面にハードターニング加工を施し、上記軸受部材にころがり接触面を形成する工程と、
ハードターニング加工された面(2)に、ハードターニング加工で形成された微小スポットを残す程度の加工を施して基本的なターニング溝を除去する仕上加工工程をを経ることとする加工方法において、
ハードターニング加工中、ハードターニング工具(4)の先端に、切り込み方向の振動を与え、
この振動により、ハードターニングされた面(2)に、多数の凹部(6)を形成し、該凹部が仕上げ加工工程前に円弧状断面をなし、該凹部(6)が、軸受部材を有するころがり軸受の運転時に、油膜形成そして潤滑特性を改善するようになっていることを特徴とする改善されたころがり接触面の形成方法。 - 切削パラメータであるハードターニングにおける工具の単位時間当りの送り量、回転速度、工具先端の半径、振動周波数と振幅が、軸受の転動体の転動方向(RD)に対して直角方向に長軸をもつ長円あるいは楕円の形状をした微小ポケットの形態の凹部(6)を、ハードターニングされたころがり接触面に形成するように、設定されていることとする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 切削パラメータであるハードターニングにおける工具の単位時間当りの送り量、回転速度、工具先端の半径、振動周波数と振幅が、凹部(6)と隣接するころがり接触面との交差角の平均値が5°以下となるように設定されていることとする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
