Claims (6)
- 排気通路に設けられた再生式の排気浄化手段と、前記排気浄化手段の上流の排気通路内に還元剤を添加する還元剤添加手段と、前記排気浄化手段の再生処理時に排気通路内に還元剤が添加されるように前記還元剤添加手段の動作を制御する動作制御手段と、を備えた内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、
前記還元剤添加手段より下流、かつ前記排気浄化手段より上流の排気通路内の圧力を取得する圧力取得手段と、前記動作制御手段によって排気通路内に還元剤が添加されるように前記還元剤添加手段の動作が制御された際、前記還元剤添加手段から添加された還元剤が前記排気浄化手段に到達したと推定される到達推定時期に前記圧力取得手段によって取得された圧力に基づいて前記還元剤添加手段を診断する診断手段と、を備えていることを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記診断手段は、前記到達推定時期に前記圧力取得手段によって取得された圧力と前記動作制御手段によって前記還元剤添加手段の動作が制御される前に前記圧力取得手段によって取得された圧力との差が所定の閾値以下の場合に前記還元剤添加手段に異常があると診断することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記診断手段は、前記動作制御手段によって排気通路内に還元剤が添加されるように前記還元剤添加手段の動作が制御された際の排気の流量及び前記排気浄化手段の温度の少なくともいずれか一方に基づいて前記所定の閾値を補正する閾値補正手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記排気浄化手段として、排気中のパティキュレートを捕集するパティキュレートフィルタが設けられ、
前記圧力取得手段は、前記パティキュレートフィルタの上流の排気の圧力と前記パティキュレートフィルタの下流の排気の圧力とを取得してこれらの圧力の差を検出する差圧検出手段であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記還元剤添加手段からは炭化水素系の還元剤が添加されることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記前記還元剤添加手段より下流、かつ前記排気浄化手段より上流の排気通路内の酸素濃度を取得する酸素濃度取得手段と、前記動作制御手段によって排気通路内に還元剤が添加されるように前記還元剤添加手段の動作が制御された際の前記到達推定時期に前記酸素濃度取得手段により取得された酸素濃度に基づいて前記還元剤添加手段を診断する補助診断手段と、をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
