Claims (3)
- 被圧延材の鋼片よりも熱間加工性のよいダミー部材を、圧延前の鋼片の端面を覆うように溶接し、そのダミー部材を溶接した端面側から圧延を開始する方法であって、上記ダミー部材は、中央部に一個の貫通穴を有する鋼板であり、その鋼板は、鋼板周辺と前記の穴の部分とで鋼片の端面に溶接されていることを特徴とする難加工鋼片の熱間圧延方法。
- ダミー部材は、厚さが4〜10mmの炭素鋼または低合金鋼の鋼板である請求項1に記載の熱間圧延方法。
- ダミー部材が、中央部の貫通穴のほかに、さらに1個以上の貫通穴を有するものである請求項1または請求項2に記載の熱間圧延方法。
