Claims (10)
- 液体を供給するポートが形成された基板と、
前記基板と対向して配置した他の基板と、
前記二つの対向配置した基板のうち、一方の基板に列状に配置され、液体を流動させる複数の小電極からなる搬送レーンと、を備えた化学分析装置において、
先端部に備えた細管を用いて前記ポートを経由して前記二つの対向する基板間に液体を供給する供給手段と、
前記搬送レーンに沿った任意の場所に設置され、前記供給手段によって供給された液体から所定量の液滴を分離する少なくとも一つ以上の液分離ポイントを有し、
該液分離ポイントは、(a)分離した液滴を搬送する、前記搬送レーンから分岐した分析レーンと、(b)分析レーンと搬送レーンの間に設けられた搬送レーンを構成する小電極よりも1辺の長さが短い電極と、を備えたことを特徴とする化学分析装置。 - 請求項1記載の化学分析装置において、
前記搬送レーンを構成する小電極よりも1辺の長さが短い電極は、複数個並べて配置されていることを特徴とする化学分析装置。 - 請求項1記載の化学分析装置において、
前記分析レーンは、前記搬送レーンを構成する小電極よりも1辺の長さが短い電極を間に挟んで、複数レーン配置されていることを特徴とする化学分析装置。 - 請求項1記載の化学分析装置において、
複数の前記小電極に接続され当該小電極に電圧を印加する電圧電源と、
前記複数の小電極に印加される電圧を前記小電極毎に制御する電圧コントローラと、を備え、
前記電圧コントローラは、連続した複数の前記小電極に対して同一の電圧を印加することを特徴とする化学分析装置。 - 請求項4記載の化学分析装置において、
前記電圧コントローラは、前記電圧電源から同一電圧を印加する連続した複数の小電極の範囲を、前記供給手段が供給した液体の容量及び前記搬送ライン上における前記液体の位置に応じて決定することを特徴とする化学分析装置。 - 請求項4記載の化学分析装置において、
前記電圧コントローラは前記液分離ポイントに対して、
前記電圧電源から当該液分離ポイントの前後に位置する他の小電極に対する電圧印加を維持しつつ、当該液分離ポイントに対する電圧の印加を停止させることを特徴とする化学分析装置。 - 請求項1記載の化学分析装置において、
前記液分離ポイントで液滴の分離が終了した後の液体を搬送する排出レーンを備えたことを特徴とする化学分析装置。 - 請求項4記載の化学分析装置において、
前記細管を浸漬するフッ素系オイル保持手段を有し、前記コントローラは、前記ポートから液体を供給する前に前記細管をこのフッ素系オイル保持手段に保持したオイルに浸漬するよう制御することを特徴とする化学分析装置。 - 請求項1記載の化学分析装置において、
前記基板は液体を供給する複数のポートを備え、
前記ポートの下流かつ前記搬送レーン上に、前記複数のポートから供給された液体を保持する保持部を備えたことを特徴とする化学分析装置。 - 請求項9記載の化学分析装置において、
前記保持部に保持された液体を任意のタイミングで前記分析レーンへ搬送し、混合させた後に分析する分析部を備えたことを特徴とする化学分析装置。
