Description
前記制御部は、前記イジェクト部材の前記初期位置から押し込み位置への移動を検知する検知器と、発電動作開始時に前記バルブ機構を開放し、発電動作開始後、前記検知器により前記イジェクト部材の移動が検知された際に前記発電部のバルブ機構を閉じるバルブ駆動部と、を備え、前記電子機器に電力を供給する。
図1ないし図3に示すように、燃料電池10は、メタノールを液体燃料としたDMFCとして構成され、また、電子機器、例えば、パーソナルコンピュータ11の電源として使用可能に構成されている。
発電部7と制御部29とを接続した上記複数の配線は、隔壁42に形成された切欠き43を通して、本体14内から載置部16内へ引き回されている。

Claims (6)
- 化学反応により発電を行う起電部、燃料を収納した燃料タンク、前記燃料タンクと起電部とを接続した流路を含み、前記起電部にそれぞれ接続され流体を流す複数の流路、および前記複数の流路にそれぞれ設けられた複数のバルブを有し前記流体の流通を規制する開閉自在なバルブ機構を有した発電部と、
電子機器に接続可能なコネクタを有し、前記発電部の動作を制御する制御部と、
前記コネクタに接続された電子機器を接続位置にロックするロック位置と、前記ロックを解除する解除位置との間を移動可能に設けられたロック部材と、初期位置と押し込み位置との間を移動可能に設けられ、前記初期位置から押し込み位置への移動により前記ロック部材をロック位置から解除位置へ移動させるイジェクト部材と、を有したロック機構と、を備え、
前記制御部は、前記イジェクト部材の前記初期位置から押し込み位置への移動を検知する検知器と、発電動作開始時に前記バルブ機構を開放し、発電動作開始後、前記検知器により前記イジェクト部材の移動が検知された際に前記発電部のバルブ機構を閉じるバルブ駆動部と、を備え、前記電子機器に電力を供給する燃料電池。 - 前記検知器は、前記イジェクト部材が前記初期位置から押し込み位置へ至る間に前記イジェクト部材の移動を検知する請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記発電部は、前記起電部に空気を供給する送気ポンプを備え、
前記複数の流路は、前記起電部と送気ポンプとを接続した流路と、前記起電部から空気および発電により生成された生成物を排出する排出流路と、前記起電部と燃料タンクとの間で燃料を循環させる燃料循環流路と、を備え、
前記バルブ機構は、前記送気ポンプと前記起電部とを接続した流路に設けられたエアバルブと、前記排出流路に設けられた排気バルブと、前記燃料循環流路に設けられたタンクバルブと、を備えている請求項1に記載の燃料電池。 - 前記発電部を収納した本体と、本体から延出し前記電子機器を載置可能に形成されているとともに前記ロック機構を収納した載置部と、を有した筐体を備え、前記制御部は、前記載置部内に配設されている請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記コネクタは前記載置部に設けられ、前記ロック機構のロック部材は、前記載置部から突出して設けられ前記電子機器と係合可能なフックを備えている請求項4に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記ロック機構は、前記イジェクト部材に設けられた磁石を有し、前記検知器は、前記磁石と対応して配置された磁気センサを備えている請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
