Description
上記表面被膜122sはプリズム構造よりも硬度の高い素材で構成されている。表面被膜122sの構成材料としては、いわゆるハードコートとして用いられるものが好適であり、例えば、アクリル酸エステル等のアクリレート系樹脂、オキセタン系樹脂、シリコーン系樹脂、オルガノアルコキシシラン系、アルコキシシラン・ジルコネート系、水系シリケート、水性アルミナ系などの無機系材料を用いることができる。
図8に示す構造では、電気光学パネル110の観察側の基板112上に貼着された偏光板116の表面に易剥離層117が形成され、この易剥離層117上に透明保護体130の第1の透明保護層131が貼着されている。この易剥離層117は第1の透明保護層131を積層した後に容易に剥離できるようにするためのもので、第1の透明保護層131に対する易剥離性を有するものである。このような易剥離層117としては、いわゆる防汚コートとして用いられるものが好適であり、例えば、PTFE(ポリテトラフルオロエチレン)等のフッ素系樹脂、シリコーン系樹脂などが挙げられる。また、他の樹脂材料、例えばアクリル系樹脂、ウレタン系樹脂などであっても、水接触角が93度以上のものであれば用いることができる。
Claims (6)
- 電気光学パネルと、
該電気光学パネルの視認側表面上に貼着された偏光板と、
該偏光板の視認側表面上に配置された透明保護体とを有し、
前記透明保護体は、前記電気光学パネル側に配置された弾性素材で構成されるとともに粘着性を有する第1の透明保護層と、該第1の透明保護層よりも周波数1〜10Hz域の動的弾性率が大きい第2の透明保護層との積層構造を有し、
前記偏光板の視認側表面に易剥離層を有することを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 周波数1〜10Hz域において、前記第1の透明保護層の動的弾性率が0.01MPa〜0.1GPaの範囲内であり、前記第2の透明保護層の動的弾性率が1.0〜15.0GPaの範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気光学装置。
- 前記第1の透明保護層の厚みが0.1mm以上0.8mm以下であり、前記第2の透明保護層の厚みが0.1mm以上0.5mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電気光学装置。
- 前記電気光学パネルの背後に配置された照明装置をさらに具備し、
該照明装置は、光源と、該光源の光を導入して光出射面より出射する導光板と、該導光板の前記光出射面と前記電気光学パネルとの間に介挿されたプリズムシートとを含み、
前記プリズムシートのプリズム構造の少なくとも頂部に前記プリズム構造より硬質の表面被膜が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の電気光学装置。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の電気光学装置を格納し、該電気光学装置の制御手段を有することを特徴とする電子機器。
- 前記電気光学装置の前記透明保護体が外面に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の電子機器。
