Claims (4)
- 旋回体を旋回駆動する旋回電動機と、この旋回電動機を機械的に制動するメカニカルブレーキと、この旋回電動機及びメカニカルブレーキの作動を制御する制御手段と、旋回速度を検出する速度検出手段とを具備し、上記旋回電動機として、慣性回転によって発生する電力を電動機外部の制動抵抗で消費させることによって電気ブレーキ作用を行なう永久磁石式電動機が用いられ、上記制御手段は、非常時に上記旋回電動機に電気ブレーキ作用を行なわせ、この電気ブレーキ作用によって旋回体の旋回速度が設定値以下に低下したときに上記速度検出手段からの速度信号に基づいて上記メカニカルブレーキを作動させるように構成され、上記旋回電動機の電気ブレーキ作用による最大トルクが、正常時の電動機最大制動トルクとほぼ同等の値に設定されたことを特徴とする作業機械の非常時旋回制動装置。
- メカニカルブレーキとして、切換弁を介して油圧が導入されたときにブレーキ力を解除する油圧式のネガティブブレーキが用いられ、制御手段は上記切換弁の作動を制御するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の作業機械の非常時旋回制動装置。
- 速度検出手段として、旋回電動機の発電作用による電圧または電流と設定値とを比較する比較部を有し、この比較部の比較結果に基づいてメカニカルブレーキを作動させるように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の作業機械の非常時旋回制動装置。
- 速度検出手段として、旋回電動機またはその減速機構の回転速度を検出する速度センサが用いられたことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の作業機械の非常時旋回制動装置。
