Claims (11)
- 接続されたガス放電ランプの電力を目標電力へと閉ループ制御するのに適した閉ループ制御装置と、接続されたガス放電ランプのランプ電流を所定の限界値に制限するのに適した調整装置とを備えている
ガス放電ランプの駆動装置において、
検出装置と開制御装置とが設けられており、
検出装置は、設定された限界値が小さすぎて接続されたガス放電ランプが目標電力を収容する状態へ移行できなくなってしまう場合に開制御装置へ所定の信号を送出し、
開制御装置は、調整装置を介して限界値を設定し、検出装置が開制御装置へ所定の信号を送出した場合に限界値を高める
ことを特徴とするガス放電ランプの駆動装置。 - 開制御装置は測定装置を介して燃焼電圧を検出し、記憶された第1の特性曲線により燃焼電圧に依存して限界値を設定する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 検出装置の信号が受信されると開制御装置は記憶された第2の特性曲線をアクティブにする、請求項2記載の装置。
- 検出装置は時間測定装置を含んでおり、該時間測定装置は接続されたガス放電ランプが点弧されたのち設定された時間が経過すると所定の信号を制御装置へ送信する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 検出装置は測定装置を介して燃焼電圧の上昇分を検出し、上昇分が設定された値を下回る場合には所定の信号を制御装置へ送信する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 開制御装置は検出装置の信号が受信されたのち限界値を設定された値だけ高める、請求項1記載の装置。
- 開制御装置は検出装置の所定の信号が受信されたのち限界値を連続的に高める、請求項1記載の装置。
- 調整装置、開制御装置、検出装置および閉ループ制御装置の機能が少なくとも部分的にソフトウェアプログラムによって実現されており、少なくとも1つのマイクロコントローラによって実行される、請求項1記載の装置。
- ガス放電ランプの点弧後、接続されたガス放電ランプの電極が損なわれないように小さく選定された始動電流を発生させるステップと、
生じた始動電流によってガス放電ランプが目標電力を収容する状態へ移行するか否かを検出するステップと、
ガス放電ランプが目標電力を収容する状態へ移行するのに充分な始動電流が生じていないと判別された場合に始動電流を高めるステップとを有する
ことを特徴とするガス放電ランプの駆動方法。 - 始動電流を記憶された第1の特性曲線の燃焼電圧との依存関係に応じて調整する、請求項9記載の方法。
- 始動電流の増大を記憶された第2の特性曲線への切り換えによって行う、請求項9記載の方法。
