Claims (10)
- ゲームプレイヤによって三次元空間内で動作させられるゲーム用具と、
前記三次元空間内における前記ゲーム用具の動作を検出して、検出した前記動作に応じた動作信号を出力する動作信号発生手段と、
画面に表示したボール等の移動体の動きを前記動作信号に基づいて決定する機能を有する画像表示手段とを備え、
前記画像表示手段は前記画面上に前記ゲームプレイヤに代わって前記画面上で代理プレイをするキャラクタを表示しない体感ゲーム装置であって、
前記ゲーム用具が前記三次元空間内において予め定めた正しい動作をしたか否かを前記動作信号に基づいて判定する動作判定手段と、
前記動作信号に基づいて、前記ゲーム用具が動作させられたときのタイミングを操作タイミングとして判定し、予め定めた基準タイミングに対する前記操作タイミングの進み量または遅れ量に基づいて前記移動体の動作方向を変更するための変更指令を出力する操作タイミング判定手段と、
前記変更指令に従って前記画面に表示した前記移動体の動作方向を変更する映像信号を出力するように前記画像表示手段に指令を与える移動体動作方向変更手段とを更に備え、
前記画像表示手段は、前記ゲーム用具が前記正しい動作をしたことを前記動作判定手段が判定したときに、前記ゲーム用具の模擬表示を前記画面上で動かすことを含む視覚により確認可能な態様で、前記正しい動作が行われたことを前記画面上に表示する機能と、前記移動体動作方向変更手段の指令に従って前記画面上に表示された前記移動体の動作方向を変更する機能とを更に備えていることを特徴とする体感ゲーム装置。 - 前記ゲーム用具が、バット、ラケット等のスポーツ用具を模した模擬スポーツ・ゲーム用具であり、
前記視覚により確認可能な態様には、前記スポーツ用具の模擬表示の色を変えることが含まれることを表示することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の体感ゲーム装置。 - 前記ゲーム用具が前記プレイヤの足に装着される靴や手に装着されるグローブの代替えとして用いられる装着タイプのゲーム用具であり、
前記視覚により確認可能な態様には、前記スポーツ用具の模擬表示の色を変えることが含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の体感ゲーム装置。 - 前記動作信号発生手段と前記画面表示手段とがゲーム機本体内に収納されているか、または前記動作信号発生手段が前記ゲーム用具内に収納されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の体感ゲーム装置。
- 前記動作信号発生手段と前記画面表示手段とがゲーム機本体内に収納されており、
前記ゲーム用具には光を反射する光反射材料がその表面に配置されており、
前記動作信号発生手段は前記ゲーム用具が動作をする前記三次元空間に向かって光を放射する発光素子と、前記発光素子から放射されて前記光反射材料によって反射された反射光を受光する受光素子とを備えており、
前記受光素子の出力により前記動作信号が作られることを特徴とする請求項1,2または3に記載の体感ゲーム装置。 - 前記ゲーム機本体の上面壁部には、前記発光素子が収納される発光素子収納孔と前記前記受光素子が収納される受光素子収納孔とが所定の間隔をあけて設けられており、
前記受光素子は前記発光素子よりも下方側に位置している請求項5に記載の体感ゲーム装置。 - ゲームプレイヤが三次元空間内でゲーム用具を動作させたときの前記ゲーム用具の動作を検出し、前記動作に応じた動作信号に基づいて画面に表示したボール等の移動体の動きを決定し、前記画面上には前記ゲームプレイヤに代わって前記画面上で代理プレイをするキャラクタを表示しないゲーム画面表示方法であって、
前記ゲーム用具が前記三次元空間内において予め定めた正しい動作をしたか否かを前記動作信号に基づいて判定し、
前記動作信号に基づいて、前記ゲーム用具が動作させられたときのタイミングを操作タイミングとして判定し、
予め定めた基準タイミングに対する前記操作タイミングの進み量または遅れ量を判定し、
前記進み量または遅れ量に基づいて前記画面上に表示された前記移動体の動作方向を変更し、
前記ゲーム用具が前記正しい動作をしたことを判定したときに、前記ゲーム用具の模擬表示を前記画面上で動かすことを含む視覚により確認可能な態様で前記正しい動作が行われたことを表示することを特徴とするゲーム画面表示方法。 - 前記ゲーム用具が、バット、ラケット等のスポーツ用具を模した模擬スポーツ・ゲーム用具であり、
前記視覚により確認可能な態様には、前記模擬玩具の色を変えることが含まれることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のゲーム画面表示方法。 - 前記ゲーム用具が前記プレイヤの足に装着される靴や手に装着されるグローブの代替えとして用いられる装着タイプのゲーム用具であり、
前記視覚により確認可能な態様には、前記模擬玩具の色を変えることが含まれることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のゲーム画面表示方法。 - ゲームプレイヤが三次元空間内でゲーム用具を動作させたときの前記ゲーム用具の動作に応じた動作信号を発生する機能と、画面に表示したボール等の移動体の動きを前記動作信号に基づいて決定する機能とをコンピュータを用いて実現し、前記画面上には前記ゲームプレイヤに代わって前記画面上で代理プレイをするキャラクタを表示しないゲーム画面表示用プログラムであって、
前記ゲーム用具が前記三次元空間内において予め定めた正しい動作をしたか否かを前記動作信号に基づいて判定する機能と、
前記動作信号に基づいて、前記ゲーム用具が動作されたときのタイミングを操作タイミングとして判定する機能と、
予め定めた基準タイミングに対する前記操作タイミングの進み量または遅れ量に基づいて前記移動体の動作方向を変更するための変更指令を出力する機能と、
前記変更指令に従って前記画面上に表示された前記ボール等の移動体の動作方向を変更する機能と、
前記ゲーム用具が前記正しい動作をしたことを判定したときに、前記ゲーム用具の模擬表示を前記画面上で動かすことを含む視覚により確認可能な態様で前記正しい動作が行われたことを表示する機能とを前記コンピュータを用いて実現することを特徴とするゲーム画面表示用プログラム。
