Description
mであり、例えばこれらは強化板ガラスと網入り板ガラスの組で構成されており、中間膜は、厚さが望ましくは30〜90ミル(0.76〜2.28mm)のポリビニルブチラール樹脂(以下、「PVB」という)製フィルムで構成される。これにより、外力による衝撃時における十分な安全性能を有すると共に火災発生時における防火性能を向上させることができる。ここで、PVB製フィルムは、高い耐衝撃性能を有するものの、火気に曝されると非常に燃えやすく、防火性能については問題があるので、上述したように、互いに対向する一対の板ガラスを強化板ガラスと網入り板ガラスの組で構成している。
上記の条件で炉内を20分間加熱している間に、非加熱面側へ10秒を超えて継続する火炎の噴出がないこと、非加熱面で10秒を超えて継続する発炎がないこと、火災が通る亀裂等の損傷及び隙間を生じないこと等を判定項目として、加熱された合せガラスの防火性の評価を行った。さらに、合せガラスの他方の面においても上記同様の判定を行った。

Claims (2)
- 互いに対向する一対の板ガラスと、前記一対の板ガラスの間に介装されたポリビニルブチラール樹脂製フィルムである中間膜とを備える合せガラスにおいて、
前記一対の板ガラスの一方が網入り板ガラスであって、他方がソーダ石灰系の組成を有するとともに表面圧縮応力が88〜157MPa(900〜1600kgf/cm2)の機械的特性を有する強化板ガラスであり、前記中間膜の厚みが0.76〜2.28mmであることを特徴とする合せガラス。 - 互いに対向する一対の板ガラスと、前記一対の板ガラスの間に介装されたポリビニルブチラール樹脂製フィルムである中間膜とを備える合せガラスにおいて、
前記一対の板ガラスの一方がソーダ石灰系の組成を有するとともに表面圧縮応力が167〜255MPa(1700〜2600kgf/cm2)の機械的特性を有する耐熱板ガラスであって、他方がソーダ石灰系の組成を有するとともに表面圧縮応力が88〜157MPa(900〜1600kgf/cm2)の機械的特性を有する強化板ガラスであり、前記中間膜の厚みが0.76〜2.28mmであることを特徴とする合せガラス。
