Description
この例において、カノーラフレークを水と混合し、加圧濾過のみを使用して(図1(a)の30に示した配置で)濾過した。この後に製品(106)を少ない量の水の中で再懸濁し、ベルトプレスによって再び濾過する。油を抽出した脱溶媒化した15Kgのカノーラフレークを60℃の水90Kgでスラリー化して(水6部、出発フレーク1部)、10分間にわたって均一な粘度に混合した。その結果、粘性の高いスラリーになった。そのスラリーを2×12インチのベルト(350立方フィート/分の空気通路穴)を備えた7ローラベルトフィルタプレス(モデルEJ−25−9, Frontier Technologies, Allegan, Michigan, USA)に供給した(この装置は図1(a)に30で概略的に示されている)。
この実施例においては、図1(a)に概略的に示した装置(20に概略的に示した羽根車タイプのフィルタ、その後に30に概略的に示したベルトプレスが続く)を使用した。

羽根車フィルタおよびベルトフィルタプレスはともに、懸濁された固体の小さな粒子の形態で、かなりの量の価値ある葉肉材料を通過させることができた。殻材料による抽出物の極めて少ない汚染が抽出物において明らかになった。

Claims (23)
- 野菜製品の非水溶性の繊維質を含んだ成分からタンパク質および/または炭水化物を分離するための処理方法であって、
(a)スラリーを形成するために前記野菜製品を水と混合する工程と、
(b)主に液体である濾過物と湿り気のある固体の残留物を形成するために羽根車の濾過によってスラリーを濾過する工程と、
(c)加圧濾過手段によって固体の残留物から水を除去する工程と
を含む、処理方法。 - 前記羽根車の濾過工程はパイプ状のフィルタを通過する螺旋駆動通路によるスラリーの連続的な濾過を含む請求項1に記載の処理方法。
- 前記羽根車の濾過工程は容器の中での羽根車混合によるスラリーの周期的な濾過を含み、その容器の一部が濾過体であり、その羽根車が容器から濾過物を押し出すために、濾過体に対してスラリーを押し流すようにする請求項1に記載の処理方法。
- 前記加圧濾過の工程は対面するフィルタベルトの間に固体残留物を通過させることによる連続濾過を含み、固体の残留物がその間を通過する時に、そのフィルタベルトは固体の残留物を徐々にしかも次第に加圧する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の処理方法。
- 前記加圧濾過の工程はスクリュープレスに固体残留物を通過させることによる連続濾過を含む請求項1〜3のいずれかの処理方法。
- 前記加圧濾過の工程は加圧室を含む加圧濾過手段の中の固体残留物の分離物の濾過を含み、その加圧室は、その室内に固体残留物を置くことによって、さらにその部分に向かって固体残留物を加圧するこによってその室に境界を設ける濾過体を有する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の処理方法。
- 主に液体である濾過物は固体の高蛋白および/または炭水化物の小さな粒子も含んでいる請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の処理方法。
- 野菜製品が脱脂油性種子食物である請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の処理方法。
- 野菜製品は油抽出したカノーラフレークである請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の処理方法。
- 野菜製品が溶媒を基礎とする油抽出処理から油抽出したカノーラフレークである請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の処理方法。
- 主に液体である濾過物が葉肉の粒子を含んでいる請求項10に記載の処理方法。
- 水溶性の成分で固体製品を取り扱う分離装置であって、
(a)スラリーを形成するために製品と水を混合する手段、
(b)濾過物と湿り気のある残留物(retentate)にスラリーを分離する羽根車タイプのフィルタ、
(c)湿り気のある残留物からさらに水を除去する加圧フィルタ手段
を組み合わせて含む、分離装置。 - 前記羽根車タイプのフィルタは濾過体に密に合う螺旋羽根車を収容するパイプ状の濾過体を含む請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記羽根車タイプのフィルタは容器の周辺の一部を形成する濾過体を含む容器と前記の一部に密に合う容器内での動作のために配置された羽根車を含む請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記濾過体は網である請求項12または13に記載の装置。
- 濾過体がタンパク質および炭水化物の少なくとも一方を含む微粒子を通過させることができる穴を有する請求項11〜13のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記濾過体が約75ミクロンの最小穴を有する請求項13〜17のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記濾過体は約250ミクロンの最小穴を有する請求項13〜17のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記濾過体は約2500ミクロンの最大穴を有する請求項13〜17のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記濾過体は約250ミクロンの最小穴を有する請求項13〜17のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記加圧フィルタ手段は固体残留物を搬送するように配置されている少なくとも一対のフィルタベルトを含み、一対のフィルタベルトの間で固体の残留物の移動方向内で固体の残留物を徐々にしかも次第に加圧する、請求項12〜20のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 加圧フィルタ手段はスクリュープレスを含む請求項12〜20のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記加圧フィルタ手段は加圧容器、濾過体に周辺を囲まれた一部および濾過体に向かって加圧容器の内部で固体の残留物を加圧する加圧容器内で受けられるように適合したピストンを含む請求項12〜20のいずれかに記載の装置。
