まず、第1の化合物であるチタン酸ナトリウムビスマス、第2の化合物であるチタン酸カリウムビスマス、および第3の化合物である亜鉛・ジルコニウム酸ビスマスの出発原料として、酸化ビスマス粉末、炭酸ナトリウム粉末、炭酸カリウム粉末、酸化チタン粉末、酸化亜鉛粉末および酸化ジルコニウム粉末を用意し、100℃以上で十分に乾燥させたのち、それらを秤量した。出発原料の配合比は、焼成後に化5および表1に示したモル比の組成となるように参考例1−1〜1−24で変化させた。表1において、NBTは(Na0.5 Bi0.5 )0.99TiO3 を表し、KBTは(K0.5 Bi0.5 )0.99TiO3 を表し、BZZはBi(Zn0.5 Zr0.5 )O3 を表している。
参考例2−1〜2−3,実施例2−4,参考例2−5〜2−8,実施例2−9,参考例2−10では、焼成後に化6および表2に示したモル比の組成となるように、第3の化合物における二価金属元素M1をマグネシウム,鉄,コバルト,ニッケルあるいは銅に変え、その原料として塩基性炭酸マグネシウム粉末,酸化鉄粉末,酸化コバルト粉末,酸化ニッケル粉末あるいは酸化銅粉末を用いたことを除き、他は参考例1−2,1−7と同様にして圧電磁器を作製した。表2において、NBTは(Na0.5 Bi0.5 )0.99TiOを表し、KBTは(K0.5 Bi0.5 )0.99TiO3 を表し、BM1ZはBi(M10.5 Zr0.5 )O3 を表している。参考例2−1〜2−3,実施例2−4,参考例2−5〜2−8,実施例2−9,参考例2−10についても、参考例1−3,1−9と同様にして、比誘電率εd、広がり方向の電気機械結合係数krおよび3MV/mの電圧パルスを印加した際の変位量を測定した。それらの結果を参考例1−3,1−9および比較例1−3の結果と共に表2に示す。
参考例3−1,3−2では、焼成後に化7および表3に示したモル比の組成となるように、第3の化合物における四価金属元素M2をスズに変え、その原料として酸化スズ粉末を用いたことを除き、他は参考例1−3,1−9と同様にして圧電磁器を作製した。表3において、NBTは(Na0.5 Bi0.5 )0.99TiO3 を表し、KBTは(K0.5 Bi0.5 )0.99TiO3 を表し、BZM2はBi(Zn0.5 M20.5 )O3 を表している。参考例3−1〜3−4についても、参考例1−3,1−9と同様にして、比誘電率εd、広がり方向の電気機械結合係数krおよび3MV/mの電圧パルスを印加した際の変位量を測定した。それらの結果を参考例1−3,1−9および比較例1−3の結果と共に表3に示す。
参考例4−1〜4−5では、焼成後に化8および表4に示したモル比の組成となるように、第1の化合物であるチタン酸ナトリウムビスマスのA/B比s1、および第2の化合物であるチタン酸カリウムビスマスのA/B比t1を変えたことを除き、他は参考例1−3と同様にして圧電磁器を作製した。表4において、NBTは(Na0.5 Bi0.5 )s1TiO3 を表し、KBTは(K0.5 Bi0.5 )t1TiO3 を表し、BZZはBi(Zn0.5 Zr0.5 )O3 を表している。s1とt1との値は、各参考例において同一である。また、本参考例では、第1の化合物および第2の化合物をそれぞれ1種類の化合物により構成するようにしたので、チタン酸ナトリウムビスマスのA/B比s1はそのまま第1の化合物のA/B比sを意味し、チタン酸カリウムビスマスのA/B比t1はそのまま第2の化合物のA/B比tを意味している。よって、数2に示した第1の化合物および第2の化合物の組成比と、これら化合物のA/B比との関係は、s1およびt1と同一となる。
Claims (5)
- 菱面晶系ペロブスカイト構造を有するチタン酸ナトリウムビスマスを含む第1の化合物と、
正方晶系ペロブスカイト構造を有するチタン酸カリウムビスマスを含む第2の化合物と、
ビスマス(Bi)と、ニッケル(Ni)と、ジルコニウム(Zr)およびスズ(Sn)からなる群のうちの少なくとも1種の四価金属元素と、酸素(O)とを含む第3の化合物と
を含有することを特徴とする圧電磁器。 - 菱面晶系ペロブスカイト構造を有するチタン酸ナトリウムビスマスを含む第1の化合物と、
正方晶系ペロブスカイト構造を有するチタン酸カリウムビスマスを含む第2の化合物と、
ビスマス(Bi)と、ニッケル(Ni)と、ジルコニウム(Zr)およびスズ(Sn)からなる群のうちの少なくとも1種の四価金属元素と、酸素(O)とを含む第3の化合物と
を含む固溶体を含有する
ことを特徴とする圧電磁器。 - 鉛(Pb)の含有量が1質量%以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の圧電磁器。 - 前記チタン酸ナトリウムビスマスおよび前記チタン酸カリウムビスマスの組成比と、前記チタン酸ナトリウムビスマスにおけるチタン(Ti)に対するナトリウム(Na)およびビスマスの組成比、並びに前記チタン酸カリウムビスマスにおけるチタンに対するカリウム(K)およびビスマスの組成比とは、数1に示した関係を有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1に記載の圧電磁器。
