Description
本発明は、ガイドワイヤ、より詳細には、透視スクリーンやその他のイメージング技術を用いたときに比較的明るい像が得られるように構成された構造を組み込んだガイドワイヤの製造方法に関する。
様々なガイドワイヤが、医療用途、例えば血管内での使用のために開発されている。これらのガイドワイヤの中には、ガイドワイヤに連結された放射線不透過マーカを有しているものがある。放射線不透過マーカは、ガイドワイヤの位置を観察するのに使用することができる。
本発明のいくつかの実施例においては、マーカ部材は、長尺状をなすシャフトの長手軸の周りに配置され、外シース内に封入される。
本発明の一実施形態は、ガイドワイヤの製造方法であって、基端部及び先端部を有する長尺状コアワイヤを準備する工程と、前記コアワイヤの少なくとも一部の上方に第1のポリマー層を配置する工程と、前記第1のポリマー層の少なくとも一部の周りにマーカ部材を配置する工程であって、前記マーカ部材の先端部がコアワイヤ先端部の先端側に配置され、前記マーカ部材の基端部がコアワイヤ先端部の基端側に配置されることと、前記第1のポリマー層及びマーカ部材の上方に第2のポリマー層を配置する工程と、第1及び第2のポリマー層を混和させてシームレス結合された単一層を形成する工程であって、この単一層は前記マーカ部材を封入していることとを含む方法を提供する。

Claims (1)
- ガイドワイヤの製造方法であって、
基端部及び先端部を有する長尺状コアワイヤを準備する工程と、
前記コアワイヤの少なくとも一部の上方に第1のポリマー層を配置する工程と、
前記第1のポリマー層の少なくとも一部の周りにマーカ部材を配置する工程であって、前記マーカ部材の先端部がコアワイヤ先端部の先端側に配置され、前記マーカ部材の基端部がコアワイヤ先端部の基端側に配置されることと、
前記第1のポリマー層及びマーカ部材の上方に第2のポリマー層を配置する工程と、
第1及び第2のポリマー層を混和させてシームレス結合された単一層を形成する工程であって、この単一層は前記マーカ部材を封入していることと
を含む方法。
