追記型記録層を有する第2の記録スタックL1であって、波長λで光反射値RL1および光吸収値AL1を有し、前記追記型記録層は、波長λで複素屈折率
前記記録スタック間に設置された透明スペーサ層であって、該透明スペーサ層の厚さは、実質的に、前記集束放射線の焦点深さよりも厚い透明スペーサ層、
を有するジュアルスタック光データ記憶媒体に関する。
式Rmin =0.18としたとき、
AL1≦1−Rmin−√(R min /R L0 )
であり、
k L0λ ≦{λ*ln[1/(R min +√(R min ))]}/(4π* d L0 )、および
k L1λ ≦{λ*ln[1/(R min +√(R min ))]}/(4π* d L1 )
を満たすことを特徴とする。所与の光データ記憶媒体に対して、ジュアルスタックディスクの両記録スタックの実効反射は、常に固有の最小反射Rminを超える必要がある。これは、L1の実効反射が以下の式を満足する必要があることを意味する。
(実施例1)Rmin=0.18、λ=655nmのDVD追記型ジュアルスタック
(層の積層順):
-厚さ0.60mmのPCからなる基板1、
-100nmのAg(n=0.16-5.34i)からなる反射層、ただしAg、Au、Cu、Al、またはこれらの合金であっても良い反射層、
-厚さ80nmのアゾ色素からなるL0記録層3で、放射線波長655nmでの色素の屈折率は2.24-0.02iであるL0記録層3、
-厚さ10nmのAgからなる第1の半透明反射層、ただしAg、Au、Cu、Al、またはこれらの合金であっても良い第1の半透明反射層、
-厚さ50μmの透明UV硬化樹脂からなるスペーサ層4、
-厚さ10nmのAg、Au、Cu、Al、またはこれらの合金からなる第2の半透明反射層、
-厚さ80nmのアゾ色素からなるL1記録層6で、放射線波長655nmでの色素の屈折率は2.24-0.02iであるL1記録層6、
-厚さ0.58mmのPCからなる基板7。

(層の積層順):
-厚さ1.1mmのPCからなる基板1、
-100nmのAg(n=0.17-2i)からなる反射層、ただしAu、CuまたはAlであっても良い反射層、
-厚さ50nmの有機色素からなるL0記録層3で、放射線波長405nmでの色素の屈折率は2.4-0.04iであるL0記録層3、
-厚さ20nmのSiO2からなる第1の透明誘電体層であって、他の誘電体(Si3N4、ZnS-SiO2、Al2O3、AlN)であっても良い第1の透明誘電体層、
-厚さ25μmの透明UV硬化樹脂からなるスペーサ層4、
-厚さ50nmの有機色素からなるL1記録層6で、放射線波長405nmでの色素の屈折率は2.4-0.04iであるL1記録層6、
-厚さ20nmのSiO2からなる第2の透明誘電体層であって、他の誘電体(Si3N4、ZnS-SiO2、Al2O3、AlN)であっても良い第2の透明誘電体層、
-厚さ0.075mmの基板7であって、本実施例では被覆層とも呼ばれる透明UV硬化樹脂からなる基板7。

Claims (3)
- 記録時に、約655nmの波長λの集束放射線を入射面に入射させて記録を行うジュアルスタック光データ記憶媒体であって、
当該ジュアルスタック光データ記憶媒体の片側に設置された、少なくとも1つの基板、
追記型記録層を有する第1の記録スタックL 0 であって、波長λで光反射値RL0および光吸収値AL0を有し、前記追記型記録層は、波長λで複素屈折率
追記型記録層を有する第2の記録スタックL 1 であって、波長λで光反射値RL1および光吸収値AL1を有し、前記追記型記録層は、波長λで複素屈折率
前記記録スタック間に設置された透明スペーサ層であって、該透明スペーサ層の厚さは、実質的に、前記集束放射線の焦点深さよりも厚い透明スペーサ層、
を有し、
式Rmin =0.18としたとき、
AL1≦1−Rmin−√(Rmin/RL0)
であり、
k L0 λ ≦{λ*ln[1/(R min +√(R min ))]}/(4π* d L0 )、および
