Description

Claims (11)
- 下記ステップを具備する、無線通信システムにおいて、衛星位置決めシステム信号を取得する際に無線装置を補助するための方法:
衛星位置決めシステム時刻に同期されるクロック信号を発生するためのタイミングソースを維持する;
前記無線装置によっても受信することができる基準信号を連続的に受信する;
前記基準信号を記憶することであって、前記記憶された基準信号は前記タイミングソースにより測定される受信の関連する時刻を有する;
情報を補助するための前記無線装置からの要求を受信することであって、前記要求は信号断片とタイムスタンプを含み、前記信号断片は前記無線装置により受信される前記基準信号のサンプリングされた一部を表し、前記タイムスタンプは、前記無線装置内のクロックを用いて前記信号断片が前記無線装置において受信された時刻を識別する;
前記信号断片を前記記憶された基準信号の一部と一致させる;
前記タイムスタンプと前記記憶された基準信号の一致された部分の受信時刻との間のタイムオフセットを決定する;
前記無線装置のための補助情報を作成する;
前記タイムオフセットを用いて、前記補助情報を前記無線装置に同期させる;
前記同期された補助情報を前記無線装置に送信する。 - 前記タイミングソースは前記無線装置と同期されない請求項1の方法。
- 前記基準信号はユビキタス信号である、請求項1の方法。
- 前記ユビキタス信号は、FM無線放送信号を備える請求項2の方法。
- 前記記憶するステップは下記ステップを具備する請求項1の方法:
前記受信した基準信号をサンプリングする;
前記サンプリングされた基準信号をバッファに記憶する;
各記憶されたサンプルの前記受信時刻は、前記タイミングソースおよび前記バッファ内のその位置により測定される前記現在時刻の関数として決定されてもよい、請求項1の方法。 - 前記補助情報は、前記衛星位置決めシステム信号が前記無線装置により受信されることが予想される時刻を識別するタイミング情報を含む、請求項1の方法。
- 下記を具備する、無線装置を含む無線通信システムにおける位置決定エンティティ:
衛星位置決めシステム時刻に同期されるクロック信号を発生するためのタイミングソース;
記憶された衛星位置決めシステム(SPS)衛星位置情報を含む衛星位置決めシステム(SPS)メモリ;
前記タイミングソースに基づいて、記憶された基準信号と受信情報の関連した時刻を含む基準信号メモリ;
前記無線装置からの補助情報のための要求を受信するように適合された通信インターフェースであって、前記要求は信号断片およびタイムスタンプを含み、前記信号は、前記無線装置により受信された基準信号のサンプリングされた一部を表し、前記タイムスタンプは、前記信号断片が、前記無線装置内のクロックを用いて前記無線装置において受信された時刻を識別する;
前記信号断片を前記記憶された基準信号の一部と整合させるように適合されたシグナルプロセッサー;
前記タイムスタンプと前記記憶された基準信号の一部の受信時刻との間のタイムオフセットを決定し、前記SPS衛星信号の位置を決定する際に、前記無線装置を補助するために、前記SPS衛星情報から補助情報を作成し、前記補助情報を前記無線装置と同期させるために、前記タイムオフセットを用いて前記補助情報を調整し、前記通信インターフェースを用いて、前記補助情報を前記無線装置に送信するように適合された制御プロセッサー。 - 下記を具備する位置決定エンティティを含む衛星位置決めシステム(SPS)における無線装置:
前記位置決定エンティティによっても受信することができる基準信号を含むRF信号を受信するように適合された基準信号受信器;
前記基準信号受信器に接続され、前記RF信号の断片を抽出し、前記RF信号の前記断片が前記基準信号受信器により受信された受信時刻を決定するように適合されたシグナルプロセッサー;
前記断片および受信時刻を位置決定エンティティに送信し、前記位置決定エンティティからのSPS位置補助情報を受信するように適合された無線通信トランシーバー、前記SPS補助情報は、前記断片、受信時刻、SPS時刻に同期されたタイムソースに基づいて前記位置決定エンティティにおいて決定される;
前記SPS補助情報を用いてSPS衛星信号を受信するように適合されたSPS受信器;
無線周波数(RF)入力信号を中間周波数(IF)信号に二重にダウンコンバートするように適合されたダブルヘテロダイン受信回路;
前記基準受信器は第1のRF入力を前記ダブルヘテロダイン受信回路に供給し、
前記通信トランシーバーは、第2のRF入力を前記ダブルヘテロダイン受信回路に供給し、
前記SPS受信器は、第3のRF入力を前記ダブルヘテロダイン受信器回路に供給し、
前記ダブルヘテロダイン受信器に入力するために、前記第1、第2および第3の入力の1つを選択するスイッチ。 - 前記基準信号受信器は、FM無線受信器である、請求項8の無線装置。
- 前記基準信号受信器は、AM無線受信器である、請求項8の無線装置。
- 前記基準信号受信器は、テレビジョン信号受信器である、請求項8の無線装置。
