Claims (15)
- 第1極板と第2極板との間にセパレータが介されたまま、複数回巻き取られた電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体が受容できるように、一側が開放された缶と、
前記缶を閉塞すると共に、ベントホールが形成され、前記ベントホールには所定の温度で変形して前記缶内部のガスを外部に放出する安全ベントが結合したキャッププレートと、を有し、
前記安全ベントは、形状記憶合金よりなることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 前記安全ベントは、温度が70〜150℃範囲で変形して前記ベントホールを開放することを特徴とする請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記安全ベントは、Ni+Ti、Cu+Zn+Al、またはCu+Al+Ni合金中から選択されたいずれかの1つであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記安全ベントは、Ni+TiにMnが一定量添加された合金であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記安全ベントは、Cu+Zn+Al、またはCu+Al+Ni合金中から選択されたいずれかの1つにTiが一定量添加されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記安全ベントは、Cu+Zn+Al、または、Cu+Al+Ni合金中から選択されたいずれかの1つにMnが一定量添加されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記安全ベントは、前記ベントホールの直径と同じ直径を有する円筒形胴体と、前記円筒形胴体の上段に前記円筒形胴体の直径より大きい円板形係止板からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記安全ベントは、所定の温度以上で前記円筒形胴体の直径が前記ベントホールの直径より小さくなることを特徴とする請求項7記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記安全ベントは、70〜150℃の温度範囲で前記円筒形胴体の直径が前記ベントホールの直径より小さくなることを特徴とする請求項7記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記キャッププレートは、上面に前記ベントホールおよび前記安全ベントを覆う固定板が更に取付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記固定板は、前記安全ベントを中心に対向する両側において、キャッププレートに溶接される縁板と、前記安全ベントと対応する位置であって前記両側の縁板に連結された中央板からなることを特徴とする請求項10記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記中央板は、内側に前記安全ベントが所定の温度で縮小された際、外部に離脱しないように中央上部からその外周縁の縁板側に一定の曲率を有して曲がった曲面部が形成され、ガスが外部に容易に排出できるように前記曲面部と前記安全ベントおよび前記キャッププレート間には空間部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項11記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体は、第1極板に第1リードが接続され、外側に所定の距離延びて前記第2極板に第2リードが接続され、外側に所定の距離延びて前記第1リードは前記キャッププレートに接続していることを特徴とする請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記キャッププレートには、ガスケットが介されると共に、前記第2リードが接続する電極端子が更に結合していることを特徴とする請求項13記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 充放電可能な電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体が受容される外装材と、
前記電極組立体が外側に離脱しないように前記外装材に取り付けられると共に、前記電極組立体および外装材の温度が所定の範囲以上に増加した場合に変形して前記外装材内部のガスを外部に排出する安全ベントを備えたキャッププレートと、
を有し、
前記安全ベントは、形状記憶合金よりなることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。
