Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for growing seedlings for planting mangroves having a water purification effect.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When planting mangroves that are vegetated mainly in the south where fresh water and seawater are mixed and purify the water, when seedlings are grown from the collected mangrove seeds, a nursery is initially placed in the gap between the existing mangrove forests. It was set and waited for the seeds to germinate and root, but during that time the seeds were knocked down or pulled out by the tides and waves, and the yield of seedlings was poor, and it was suitable as a nursery I could not grow a large amount of seedlings because I could not find the ground level and soil area.
[0003]
On the other hand, as in the invention of JP-A-10-56893 relating to plant vegetation beds and plant breeding reefs, roots extending below the surface of the water can be obtained by using a plant vegetation floor of a permeable sheet-like material such as a net-like material or entangled material. There are also known examples of providing plant breeding reefs that can serve as a place for spawning, breeding, and protecting seafood and aquatic organisms, and in this case, the seedlings that are grown are drawn out and planted. When changing, the roots that protrude downward from the lattice-like water-permeable sheet are often cut or damaged, and the subsequent growth of seedlings is not good, and the removal of seedlings for transplantation is performed smoothly. There was a shortcoming.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the present invention, mangrove seeds are arranged on a floating seed bed made of a fine mesh cloth that does not pass through the roots, and the seeds are germinated and rooted while adjusting so that the seeds are soaked in water more than half. There is provided a method for growing a mangrove seedling that can eliminate the root damage and can significantly improve the establishment rate after transplantation.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, an appropriate number of mangrove seeds are bundled with a string, surrounded by a frame, and the mangrove is placed on a floating seed bed on a water surface made of a water-permeable cloth that does not allow mangrove roots to pass through. Arrange seed bundles, adjust the floating body attached to the frame so that the bottom of the seeds soaked in water, grow seedlings until the shoots and roots emerge from the seeds, then unravel the strings that bundle the seeds, It consists of a method of growing mangrove seedlings for transplanting seedlings.
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a method for growing a mangrove seedling of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0007]
First, in the growing method of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, the elongated mangrove seeds 1 are gathered into appropriate numbers of about 100 to about 200, as shown in FIG. Bundle with string 2. In addition to the string, it may be bundled with a rope, a beam or the like.
[0008]
Next, the seed 1 bundled with the string 2 as described above is attached to a frame 3 such as a wood as shown in FIG. 1 and is made of a water-permeable cloth 4 and floats on the water surface W. A mesh net-like cloth material that does not pass through the roots of the mangrove seed 1 after rooting is selected for the cloth 4.
[0009]
Further, a floating body 6 made of plastic or the like that can be adjusted for buoyancy is attached and fixed to the frame body 3 at an appropriate interval, and the seeds 1 arranged on the floating seed bed 5 are immersed in the water surface W by more than half. Thus, the buoyancy of the floating body 6 is adjusted so that the roots rooted from the seed 1 are constantly adjusted so as to be below the water surface W.
[0010]
In the above state, when shoots and roots emerge from seed 1 and grow into seedlings that can withstand transplantation, string 2 of seed 1 is unwound and the seedlings are transplanted to the planting ground.
[0011]
According to the growth of mangrove seedlings by the floating seed bed 5 in the embodiment of FIG. 1, regardless of the tides, the root part is always in the sea, and the buds are in the air and grow well. The yield was almost 100%.
[0012]
Further, in this embodiment, about 10,000 seedlings could be grown at a stretch on the floating seed bed 5 of 2.5 m × 2.5 m, and mass planting of 50,000 to 80,000 trees / month could be achieved.
[0013]
Furthermore, since it is hydroponics with the floating seed bed 5, the roots are not damaged when the seedlings are taken out, the establishment rate of the planted seedlings is improved, and the originally estimated 30% establishment rate is improved to about 85%. .
[0014]
【The invention's effect】
According to the seedling growing method of the present invention, mangrove seed germination and rooting growth are good regardless of tides, and seedling yield is improved to nearly 100%.
[0015]
In addition, a large amount of seeds can be planted, and the roots are hardly damaged when the seedlings grown on the floating seedbed are taken out, so that the establishment rate of the seedlings planted is greatly improved.
