本発明の一つの好ましい態様によれば、上記請求項1乃至7の構成に於いて、電動機はホイールインモータであるよう構成される(好ましい態様1)。

Claims (7)
- バッテリと、前記バッテリよりの電力を使用してそれぞれ対応する車輪を駆動する電動機と、少なくとも乗員の駆動要求に応じて前記電動機を制御する制御手段と、前記電動機の異常を検出する異常検出手段とを有し、前記制御手段は前記異常検出手段により何れかの電動機の異常が検出されたときには当該異常な電動機の駆動を停止すると共に、単なる異常な電動機の駆動停止のみの場合に比して前記バッテリの電力供給持続時間が長くなるよう他の電動機を制御することを特徴とする電動機駆動車輌の駆動力制御装置。
- 前記制御手段は異常な電動機の駆動を停止すると共に、異常な電動機の駆動停止に起因する車輌偏向の虞れを低減しつつ異常な電動機の駆動停止及び異常な電動機の駆動停止に起因する車輌偏向の虞れ低減のみの場合に比して前記バッテリの電力供給持続時間が長くなるよう他の電動機を制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動機駆動車輌の駆動力制御装置。
- 前記制御手段は他の電動機による消費電力が低下するよう他の電動機を制御することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電動機駆動車輌の駆動力制御装置。
- 前記制御手段は車輌の車速の上限を低く設定して他の電動機を制御することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電動機駆動車輌の駆動力制御装置。
- 前記制御手段は他の電動機へ供給される電力の上限を低く設定して他の電動機を制御することを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載の電動機駆動車輌の駆動力制御装置。
- 前記制御手段は車輌の加速度の上限を低く設定して他の電動機を制御することを特徴とする請求項3乃至5に記載の電動機駆動車輌の駆動力制御装置。
- 電動機は車輌の減速制動時に発電しその電力を前記バッテリへ供給する電動発電機であり、前記制御手段は車輌の減速制動時に他の電動機の少なくとも一部の発電量を高くすることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6に記載の電動機駆動車輌の駆動力制御装置。
