Description
Claims (4)
- 内燃機関の点火時期制御装置であって、
前記内燃機関のクランク角を検出するための第1の検出手段と、
クランク角についての予め定められた範囲における前記内燃機関の振動の波形を検出するための第2の検出手段と、
前記検出された波形が前記内燃機関の振動の波形の基準として定められた波形モデルに類似する度合を表わす第1の値を算出するための第1の算出手段と、
前記内燃機関で発生する振動の強度を表わす第2の値を算出するための第2の算出手段と、
前記第1の値が第1の条件を満たす場合および前記第2の値が第2の条件を満たす場合のうちの少なくともいずれか一方の場合はノッキングが発生していないと判定するように、前記第1の値および前記第2の値の組み合わせに基づいて、前記内燃機関にノッキングが発生したか否かを判定するための判定手段と、
前記内燃機関にノッキングが発生したと判定された場合、前記第1の値および前記第2の値の組み合わせに応じた量だけ点火時期を遅角するように、前記内燃機関を制御するための制御手段とを含み、
前記制御手段は、前記第1の値が小さいほど、より小さく点火時期を遅角するように、前記内燃機関を制御するための手段を含む、内燃機関の点火時期制御装置。 - 前記算出手段は、前記予め定められた範囲における振動の強度の最大値を、前記内燃機関の振動の強度の基準として定められた値で除算することにより、前記第2の値を算出するための手段を含む、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の点火時期制御装置。
- 前記第1の条件は、前記第1の値が第1のしきい値よりも小さいという条件であり、
前記第2の条件は、前記第2の値が第2のしきい値よりも小さいという条件である、請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の点火時期制御装置。 - 前記制御手段は、前記第2の値が小さいほど、より小さく点火時期を遅角するように、前記内燃機関を制御するための手段を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の点火時期制御装置。
