Description
Claims (10)
- 車両のワイパを駆動するワイパ駆動手段と、
降雨状態に応じた信号を出力する降雨状態検出手段と、
前記車両が屋内から出ることを検出する屋内検出手段と、
前記車両が屋内から出ることが検出された場合は、それ以外の場合に比較して前記降雨状態に応じた信号の出力からワイパの駆動開始までの時間を短くするように前記ワイパ駆動手段の動作状態を制御する制御手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするワイパ装置。 - 前記降雨状態検出手段は、雨滴量を検出するレインセンサからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のワイパ装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記雨適量が所定量になると前記ワイパ駆動手段を始動させるものであり、前記車両が屋内から出ることが検出された場合は、当該所定量を下げることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のワイパ装置。
- 前記制御手段は、所定時間継続して所定量以上の雨適量を取得した場合に前記ワイパ駆動手段を始動させるものであり、前記車両が屋内から出ることが検出された場合は、当該所定時間を短縮することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項2のいずれかに記載のワイパ装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記車両が屋内からでることが検出された場合、前記降雨状態検出手段の検出感度を上げることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載のワイパ装置。
- 前記屋内検出手段は、前記車両が屋内に進入することを検出する手段を兼ねており、前記制御手段は、前記ワイパ駆動手段の前記車両が屋内に進入する前の動作状態を記憶しておき、前記車両が屋内からでることが検出された場合、当該記憶された動作状態を再現させることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のワイパ装置。
- 前記ワイパ装置は、ドライバーの指示に応じて前記ワイパ駆動手段の動作状態を制御する手動モードを備え、前記制御手段は、当該手動モード時の前記降雨状態に応じた信号と前記ワイパ駆動手段の動作状態とを関連付けて記憶しておき、前記車両が屋内からでることが検出された場合、前記降雨状態を示す信号を取得すると当該降雨状態に対応する動作状態となるように前記ワイパ駆動手段を制御することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のワイパ装置。
- 前記屋内検出手段は、前記車両の上方照度を検出する第1の照度センサと、前記車両前方の照度を検出する第2の照度センサとを備ることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれかに記載のワイパ装置。
- 前記屋内検出手段は、前記車両の現在位置を検出する現在位置検出手段と、道路地図に関する地図データを記憶する地図データ記憶手段とを備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれかに記載のワイパ装置。
- 前記屋内検出手段は、前記車両の前方を撮像する画像センサを備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれかに記載のワイパ装置。
