(a)第1の主面は多層ポリマーフィルムの形態の干渉フィルムおよび吸収フィルタを有し、干渉フィルムは、少なくとも選択波長の光の場合には、限定された角度範囲でフィルムに入射する光を実質的に透過し、それ以外の角度で入射する光は実質的に反射し、吸収フィルタは、干渉フィルムからの光を受光するように構成されて上記の選択波長の光を透過し、
(b)第2の主面は、任意の角度で面に入射する可視光の場合には、少なくとも85%の反射率を有する散乱反射材料を備え、
上記の光源からの光が実質的単色のビームの形で第1の主面にわたって実質的一様に光共振器内から反射されるライトガイドをさらに提供する。
Claims (9)
- 第1の主面および第2の主面を有するライトガイド光共振器を画定するハウジングと、前記第1および第2の主面の間で案内される光を前記光共振器内に向けるように構成された、選択波長の実質的単色の可視光の光源と、を具備し、
(a)前記第1の主面は干渉フィルムを有し、該干渉フィルムは、前記選択波長の光の場合には、限定された角度範囲で前記干渉フィルムに入射する光を実質的に透過し、それ以外の角度で入射する光は実質的に反射し、
(b)前記第2の主面は、任意の角度で面に入射する前記選択波長の光の場合には少なくとも85%の全反射率を有する散乱反射材料を備え、
前記光共振器内からの光が限定された広がり角度の実質的単色のビームの形で前記第1の主面にわたって実質的一様に放射されるライトガイド。 - 前記干渉フィルムから光を受光するように構成された吸収フィルタをさらに具備し、前記吸収フィルタは、前記選択波長の光のみを実質的に透過し、照明されていないときには異なる色を呈する請求項1に記載にライトガイド。
- 前記散乱反射材料は、約15°〜45°の分散角度を有する広乱反射面または約15°未満の分散角度を有する狭散反射面のいずれかを有する請求項1又は2に記載のライトガイド。
- 第1および第2の主面を有するライトガイド光共振器を画定するハウジングと、前記第1および第2の主面の間に案内される可視光を前記光共振器内に向けるように構成された光源と、を具備し、
(a)前記第1の主面は多層ポリマーフィルムおよび吸収フィルタを有し、前記多層ポリマーフィルムは、少なくとも選択波長の光の場合には、限定された角度範囲で前記多層ポリマーフィルムに入射する光を実質的に透過し、それ以外の角度で入射する光は実質的に反射し、前記吸収フィルタは、干渉フィルムからの光を受光するように構成されて前記選択波長の光を透過し、
(b)前記第2の主面は、任意の角度で面に入射する可視光の場合には、少なくとも85%の反射率を有する散乱反射材料を具備し、
前記光共振器からの光が限定された広がり角度の実質的単色のビームの形で前記第1の主面にわたって実質的一様に放射されるライトガイド。 - 前記選択波長において、前記干渉フィルムが垂直入射を中心にして限定された範囲の角度内で前記フィルムに入射する光のみを実質的に透過する請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のライトガイド。
- 前記第2の主面が、任意の角度で面に入射する可視光の場合には少なくとも98%の全反射率を有する請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のライトガイド。
- 前記第2の主面が、その上に形成される光拡散構造物を有する鏡面反射材料を具備する請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のライトガイド。
- 前記光共振器の前記第1の主面から放射される光のビームを受光し、その方向を変えるように位置づけられる光分割器をさらに具備する請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のライトガイド。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のライトガイドを組込んだ自動車用の信号灯。
