置換基Cは、それぞれ独立して単結合または−O−であり、かつ、
置換基Dは、それぞれ独立してC1〜20の直鎖、分岐または環状アルキル基、あるいは下式2で示される官能基であり、

置換基C’は、それぞれ独立して、−O−、−COO−、−CONH−、または−OCO−であり、かつ、
置換基D’は、それぞれ独立してC1〜20の直鎖、分岐または環状アルキル基、あるいは下式3で示される官能基であり、

置換基C”は、それぞれ独立して、−O−、−COO−、−CONH−、または−OCO−であり、かつ、
置換基D”は、それぞれ独立してC1〜20の直鎖、分岐または環状アルキル基、あるいは下式4で示される官能基であり、

Bは、単結合、−O−、−COO−、−CONH−、または−OCO−であり、
置換基Cは、それぞれ独立した単結合、−O−、−COO−、−CONH−、または−OCO−であり、かつ、
置換基Dは、それぞれ独立してC1〜20の直鎖、分岐または環状アルキル基で、少なくとも一個のハロゲン原子により置換されていてもよく、あるいは下式2で示される官能基であり、
置換基C’は、それぞれ独立して、−O−、−COO−、−CONH−、または−OCO−であり、かつ、
置換基D’は、それぞれ独立してC1〜20の直鎖、分岐または環状アルキル基、あるいは下式3で示される官能基であり、
置換基C”は、それぞれ独立して、−O−、−COO−、−CONH−、または−OCO−であり、かつ、
置換基D”は、それぞれ独立してC1〜20の直鎖、分岐または環状アルキル基、あるいは下式4で示される官能基であり、

(1)3,4,5−トリ(n−ドデシルオキシ)ベンゾイル・クロライド
(比較例1)
0.9モルの4,4−メチレンジアニリンおよび0.1モルの2,4−ジアミノフェノキシヘキサデカンを使用したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法でポリアミド酸を調整した。実施例1に記載の手順に従って、液晶のアラインメント特性を評価し、液晶のプレチルト角を測定し、アラインメントフィルムの化学的耐性を評価した。その結果を表1に示す。
(比較例2)
0.85モルの4,4−メチレンジアニリンおよび0.15モルの2,4−ジアミノフェノキシヘキサデカンを使用したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法でポリアミド酸を調整した。実施例1に記載の手順に従って、液晶のアラインメント特性を評価し、液晶のプレチルト角を測定し、アラインメントフィルムの化学的耐性を評価した。その結果を表1に示す。
Claims (10)
- 請求項1に記載のジアミン化合物、脂環式二無水物、芳香環式二無水物、ならびに任意により、芳香環式ジアミンおよび/またはシロキサンをベースとするジアミンを共重合することにより調製されるポリアミド酸。
- ジアミンモノマーの総量を基準とする、請求項1に記載のジアミン化合物の量が0.1〜100モル%であり、芳香環式ジアミンおよびシロキサンをベースとするジアミンの量が0〜99.9モル%である、請求項3に記載のポリアミド酸。
- 二無水物モノマーの総量を基準とする、芳香環式二無水物の量が10〜95モル%であり、脂環式二無水物の量が5〜90モル%である、請求項3に記載のポリアミド酸。
- ポリアミド酸の数平均分子量が10,000〜500,000g/モルである、請求項3に記載のポリアミド酸。
- 請求項3に記載のポリアミド酸を全体的または部分的にイミド化することにより調製される、可溶性ポリイミド。
- 請求項3に記載のポリアミド酸と、請求項7に記載の可溶性ポリイミドとの混合物。
- 請求項3に記載のポリアミド酸、請求項7に記載の可溶性ポリイミド、または請求項8に記載の混合物を溶媒中に溶解し、基板上にこの溶液をコーティングし、前記ポリアミド酸を全体的または部分的にイミド化することにより製造される液晶アラインメントフィルム。
- 請求項9に記載の液晶アラインメントフィルムを有する液晶ディスプレイ装置。
